It’s been puppy week at Macoupin Veterinary Services! ♥️

What a BIG (and adorable) morning! 🐾 Three sweet 6-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog puppies came in for their very first visit with Dr. Reed and let’s just say… being this cute is exhausting! ♥️

After lots of snuggles, gentle exams, and a few tasty treats, these fluffy babies were officially tuckered out.

First visits are all about making positive experiences, building trust, and making sure our patients get the healthiest start possible. We’d say these three handled it like champs! 💪🐾

Six years ago, I joined the Macoupin Vet team with a dream of building the kind of clinic and work environment I had always envisioned. I was fortunate to walk into an incredible team already built by Dr. Sandino and to grow it with even more amazing people over the years.

After celebrating a belated Christmas together this weekend, I am reminded of how blessed I am. They are a true work family, through the ups and downs. Not every day is great, but every day this team does great things.

Thank you to all of you for allowing us to do what we love and for trusting us with your furry family members. Many blessings for 2026.
