Blink and they are already almost 2 😭 competition obedience is difficult to teach because it takes consistency, consistency, and more consistency. This is a year in the making and still not finished!

How do you know if your marker word has the intended affect?? You notice a change in behavior! Rou’s “catch” marker is a terminal marker, meaning “you something good here’s a treat and youre all done!” So she knows “catch,” means a treat is coming her way! If we venture into continuation markers, I use good, it means “you’re doing great, keep doing it!”
For example: “sit,” dog sits “good,” treat but keep doing it “good,” no treat “catch!” You’re done, catch your treat!
