Sandi’s official welcoming committee was on duty for her afternoon arrival. Cal, Billy, Kiwi, and Sprinkles wasted no time es**rting her straight to the kitchen. They were determined to make sure she didn’t get lost or accidentally forget the most important part of the visit—dinner. With four furry guides leading the way, Sandi never stood a chance of missing her destination. 🐾🐱🐾

Cal and Billy were especially eager since meal time means insulin time, while Kiwi and Sprinkles were happy to supervise the entire operation and make sure everything stayed on schedule. The committee agreed: another successful es**rt mission completed.

Sherlock’s sporting a brand-new look, and apparently his tongue got the memo too! 😆🐾

“Sharon , I’ve been working hard today. Fetch in the air conditioning is serious business. You throw the ball, I retrieve it, then I supervise where it goes next. It’s exhausting being this dedicated.”

With Arizona temperatures soaring, indoor fetch is definitely the smarter choice. Sherlock may not get to patrol the dog park for lizards, but he’s still managing to wear himself out enough to have that adorable tongue hanging out. Sometimes a few rounds of fetch, a cool house, and a happy tail are all a dog needs.

Looks like Detective Sherlock is taking a brief break from his lizard investigations to recover from his intense indoor athletic training. 🐶🎾

Maxx was waiting for Sandi again this morning, and it was clear he had one thing on his mind—breakfast! 🐾🐱

The shy boy who once preferred to stay hidden is making such wonderful progress. Now, instead of hiding under beds or chairs, Maxx is greeting Sandi and making sure she knows it’s mealtime. His growing confidence and trust have been a joy to watch, and all that patience is really paying off.

Of course, once breakfast was served, Maxx was a very happy kitty. Nothing says “good morning” quite like a full bowl and a familiar friend arriving right on time. ❤️🐱

Smokey and Bandit were enjoying an early morning walk when a rabbit suddenly appeared. Instantly, both boys went into full investigation mode—ears up, noses working overtime, and eyes locked on their furry discovery. The rabbit may have been hoping for a quiet morning, but Smokey and Bandit were convinced they had just spotted the most exciting thing in the neighborhood. 🐰🐾

Thankfully, the rabbit made a quick getaway, leaving the boys with plenty to sniff, discuss, and remember for the rest of their walk. Early morning adventures are always better when there’s a little wildlife excitement along the way.

Nothing makes a cat feel more certain that they have been neglected for days than waiting an extra minute for dinner. 😹😻😺😽

Sandi says the feeding routine is always the same: Cal and Billy know they have to eat first so they can get their insulin shots, while Kiwi and Sprinkles do their best to be patient… for about one second. Then the chorus begins, reminding everyone that they are clearly the hungriest cats in Arizona.

Once the food bowls hit the floor, all is right with the world. Cal and Billy can get their insulin, Kiwi can stop supervising the process, and Sprinkles can focus on the important business of eating. Sandi is definitely appreciated by this hungry crew—especially at mealtime! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Maxx is making great progress! 🐾

After plenty of patience and gentle encouragement from Sandi, Maxx is finally starting to feel more comfortable during her visits. Instead of hiding under beds or chairs, he’s beginning to come out and be part of the action. Building trust with a shy or cautious pet takes time, consistency, and understanding, and it’s wonderful to see that all of Sandi’s efforts are paying off.

Every small step is a big victory, and Maxx is showing that he’s learning Sandi is a friend he can trust. We’re so proud of him and look forward to watching his confidence continue to grow. 💙

Another hot Arizona day means no dog park adventures for Sherlock, so he’s taken matters into his own paws and switched to his favorite backup activity—lizard patrol. 🦎☀️

As you can tell, Sherlock is hard at work performing his official lizard call, and apparently the local lizards are answering. He is completely focused on his mission and determined to track down every tiny reptile daring to appear in his yard.

While the dog park may be off the schedule until cooler weather returns, Detective Sherlock seems convinced that important lizard investigations must continue, regardless of the temperature. His dedication to reptile surveillance is truly admirable. 🐾🔎

Stay cool, Sherlock. The dog park will be waiting for you when Arizona decides to stop pretending it’s the surface of the sun. Until then, keep those lizards on notice! 🌵🦎😄

Sandi takes it all in stride and always has a good time. Whether it’s managing two leashes, keeping up with different walking speeds, or stopping for every interesting smell along the way, she handles it with a smile. Smokey and Bandit clearly enjoy their adventures with her, and she enjoys every minute right along with them.

That’s one of the things that makes Sandi so special—she turns every walk into a fun outing for the dogs while making sure they stay safe, happy, and well cared for.

Making new friends at the dog park is always a little scary at first, but also so much fun.

This is Dolly’s third day with Stevie at the dog park. She is doing so much better. She’s not nearly as skittish around the other dogs, and big sister Stevie is right by her side, showing her all the ropes and teaching her proper dog park etiquette. 🐾💛

Smokey and Bandit decided that conserving energy in the air conditioning was a much better plan than any strenuous exercise. Smart dogs know when it’s too hot outside.

They enjoyed some attention, a few treats, and plenty of relaxation time. With temperatures soaring, even the most active pups are choosing naps over adventures. Smokey and Bandit seem perfectly content letting Sandi do all the work while they supervise from the comfort of a cool spot indoors. 💙💙
