B&C Equine Rescue provides educational support through events at the rescue and in the communities it serves. We offer a safe haven to both local horses and those from surrounding states, providing a home and lifesaving veterinary care when necessary. We offer rehabilitation, facilitate rehoming, and provide sanctuary where unadoptable animals can live out their lives in comfort and dignity. B&C a

lso works with law enforcement agencies to take in cruelty, abandonment, and neglect cases. Although B&C Equine Rescue focuses on horses, it is also home to birds, dogs, cats, and chickens from similar situations. If you would like to come visit, give us a call to schedule an appointment.

5 years ago B&C EQUINE RESCUE lost probably the most popular & sweetest horse ever! TED was a big hit with everyone! I even got to ride him in the Ottawa Parade! We use to dress him up at Christmas time with hats, wreathes & ribbons & take his picture!! He loved attention!! If you were standing there & you didn't have your hands on him, he would gently put his head on your shoulder & nudge you like "Hey! I'm standing right here & you're NOT loving on me!!!!!" Thanks for ALL the memories Ted!! Thanks for still making me smile!!! 😄❤️🙌

We had our Event at B & C Equine Rescue Inc. on Sunday, Oct 20. THANK YOU to ALL that came and bought Raffle tickets, bought Garage Sale items, gave donations, bought from our large assortment of tasty bakery goods, and came and visited and enjoyed their time at the Rescue! It turned out to be a beautiful day!! Not too many pictures were taken and most of these were taken by my granddaughter Blake. We were too busy enjoying ourselves!

Everyone here at B&C EQUINE RESCUE would like to say THANK YOU to Insane Paine Produce for their generous donation of Pumpkins and Gourds to the Rescue!!! We will use some for our Event we have on Sunday, Oct 20 and the Horses, Donkeys & Dogs will enjoy the rest later on!! Thank you again Luke & Mark!! They are all so beautiful!!!!🎃❤️🚜

We also need some more baked goods for the cake walk & stick horse races. Please bring them already divided (dozen cookies, 6 or 12 cupcakes, etc). It can be a bag of candy too! We appreciate everyone helping out. We simply don't have enough volunteers to make all that is needed. THANK YOU!!!
