Wanted to take this time and introduce Laura, who permanently joined our team last month to take over for Sevs clients as driving the Ortega highway daily with a Newborn was not a conducive or safe decision for our new Mama.
Laura has 15 years grooming experience, and is excellent! Specializing in Poodles, Doodles, Terriers and Hand sc******ng; her wide knowledge of Breed Clips, Asian Fusion Style and all around beautiful grooming make her our dream come true!
Her management experience shines through with her customer service skills, fluent in English AND Spanish, and the feedback I’ve received from her clients has been wonderful! As we always strive to give you and your pet the best grooming experience available we hope you will enjoy Laura’s talents, and if your unable to get in with your usual groomer in the time you need, Laura’s attention to detail and warm personality will NOT disappoint! Yesterday I had the honor of attending a lovely clients Celebration of life. She came into my life about 20 years ago, about the same time my own grandmother had passed away, and if anyone could have filled my perfect grandmas shoes, it was Jayne. Through the years we developed the sweetest relationship, and she was so dedicated to having her grooming done specifically by me, even at times when I could offer her a groomer better than myself (I always want THE BEST for everyone!) Jayne was a pistol and I appreciate her blatant honesty, her sense of humour, and her hilarious antidotes and her ability to throw parties and wear costumes well into her late 80’s. She is literally everything I will strive to be in MY OWN Golden Years.
This month hasn’t been easy: I treasure my clients like their family, and right after Jayne’s passing I also learned of 2 other beloved clients: Jim Sloan an absolute gem of a gentleman that I’ve known for the last 15 years. He always had a big smile, was so kind and gentle for the big guy in stature he was. When they lost their first Yorkie Presley, they returned with another Yorkie a little while later. I’m always grateful for everyone who entrusts us with their precious pets.
Most Shockingly, we also lost Sweet Eileen Langdon, another 14 year client. While I didn’t get to see Eileen on a regular basis at drop off, she was a lovely voice that I enjoyed chatting with, while scheduling her appointments. She was such a kind and positive person, and my heart aches for her husband as she was taken way too young from all of us. She even painted me the sweet little paw print picture that hangs in our lobby.
Pease know: You guys are all an extended part of our own families, we see eachother on such a regular basis, often more than our own families!
Something that did occur to me during this because my concerns are always with your pets : does your pet have a family member to take care of it etc: please include your dog groomer in your instructions for your after life; for your pets: to help your pets and your families transition.
I know it may seem silly, but a lot of pets are sensitive and losing a family member and then being moved to a new groomer can cause further stress. Many family members will overlook this in the moment of convenience/inconvenience; but having a dedicated and designated professional in your legal matters is always in your pets best Interest, and often overlooked. Please know that we stay dedicated to be helpful to you and your families always, as much as we are able. ❤️. Many blessings and prayers for the families of Jayne, Jim and Eileen. Our thoughts are with you in this sad time of mourning.

Something STINKS, and it’s not this SKUNK! It was brought to my attention today that there is a RUMOUR circulating from another groomer that I sold my business. I would like to say that is COMPLETELY FALSE and RIDICULOUS,and COUDN’T be FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH, especially since i just renewed our lease again🤗 I’d also like to question that groomers intentions on spreading a false narrative. LAME!

Please rest assured that i am still the owner of Bow Wow Beautiful Pet Spa, and that we will continue to make your furry family members Bow Wow Beautiful for many years to come, and also while I may have groomers temporarily come in to help out, while I’m out of town, while I share in the care of my 82 year old Mother, I promise you that I’m definitely not on “vacation“ either 😆🤦‍♀️Love- Heidi

My prediction was right! Sev has officially been forced on Maternity leave by her Drs! She’s so sweet, she was so concerned about herself being an inconvenience and letting her clients down!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! She has been a trooper! I worked up to 8.5 months as a waitress when I was pregnant, which was pretty strenuous; but dog grooming is such an extreme emotionally and physically challenging job, I can’t believe she made it as long as she did! Kudos to her!!
Don’t fear! As I always anticipate and strive to create a team to bring you the best, quality care with the least amount of wait time possible, Kaylee who joined us in December and who has a very close grooming style to Sev, will be cheerfully accepting her clients. Kaylee came to us from San Diego and has been doing a great job settling in and getting used to our routine! She does great doodles, adorable Asian fusion and super cute Teddy bear cuts! And as always, if I can personally do anything to make your experience any better, please let me know as we navigate our new changes!

It’s officially happened! Frank has retired! What a wonderful send off he had at Pines Park, I’ve known Frank for at least half of his career of 40 years working in the Capo Beach area as everyone’s favorite Salsa Dancing UPS Driver. He was more than just a deliverer of packages, he brought smiles, laughter and such an amazing customer service prioritized work ethic, he was family! Wishing this guy the most relaxing retirement ever, he’s earned it!

2nd haircut ever for this adorable Asian Fusion Schnauzer that Sev did! Sev joined our team coming close to a year now, commuting from Costa Mesa originally and now Lake elsinore , so dedicated to her clients and I couldn’t be more proud of her, and of the skills, growth and confidence she’s built and exhibited while being with us! She will be going on Maternity leave early May (I don’t know that little mamma will even last that long! ) but we’re so excited to meet the baby boy her and her husband have been blessed with! So please make your appointments and wish this sweet Lady Luck into the next chapter of her families exciting life! Cori, Kaylee and Vanessa will be helping out with her clients!
