Old Mountain Farm, Sugarmoon and Painted Pepper Farm lines. Very sweet personalities. Mothers are excellent milkers with solid butter-fat content, easy expression, soft skin, great yields.

Well, Jackson’s chickens are laying consistently enough we can start our spring egg list! If you would like fresh eggs once a week, or once every two weeks, please DM us.
They are ORGANIC EGGS from happy hens fed 100% organic nonGMO feed. You are what you eat!
You know eggs in the grocery stores are likely a month old by the time you purchase them, right?

Like a pile of chicken wings…the girls have eaten all the Christmas trees and discarded the “bones”. Thank you for dropping off your trees, they have been “recycled”…and have given them something to do during yesterday’s storm!

Chicks now mean early summer eggs!
These little peepers will be the next class of “Jackson’s Eggs”. He has already convinced dad to keep one more than the original plan lol.
These colors won’t be added to our egg baskets until late summer, but it gives us all something to look forward to…

We were fortunate to have a wonderful hatch, but cannot keep them all! These are lovely Easter Eggers (and blue/black splash Marans).
Egg color included, no filters used.
