This tiny 2" hummingbird was found by one of our wonderful clients. They brought the baby to Dr. Johnson's house for her special nectar recipe and a warm place to spend the night. Then, the wonderful volunteers from Avian Haven picked up the little one for some extra special care.

Camille heads up our rehab department and she is a Certified Canine Animal Therapist.

Pets benefit from rehabilitation much as humans benefit from physical therapy. Rehabilitation helps pets recover from injury or surgery, regain and maintain mobility and decrease pain. It is also helpful to keep pets mentally focused, lose weight and to stay in shape over the long, cold winter and the Maine spring chill! This type of physical therapy is never painful and dogs who get rehab here always have fun!

With rehab, dogs and cats can maintain strength as they age and prevent injury during times of inactivity. Some common conditions we work with include:

- Soft Tissue Injuries
- Pre and Post surgical recovery
- Pain Management (acute and chronic)
- Cranial Cruciate Ligament tears and strains
- Osteoarthritis
- Obesity

Therapies include:

Underwater treadmill
Massage
Cold Laser Therapy
Theraputic Ultrasound
Home Exercise Programs

and more.

Call us at 207-799-6952 to schedule an evaluation with Camille.
