Hey Salty Paws Fam 🐾
Update on Natalie’s Arm Injury❤️🩹🦴
First, a massive thank you for your patience and understanding over the last several weeks. It's been 7 weeks since I broke my left arm—my cast came off July 15th and I’m currently wearing a brace! I will be starting physical therapy soon and hoping to get my range of motion back ASAP.
Exsisting appointments are confirmed unless we reached out to adjust. New bookings are currently being scheduled for August ~ and spots will fill up incredibly fast. We won't be staggering appointments as much to ensure Mason is available to assist me, so availability will be limited. Please text us as soon as possible to secure your spot and be placed on our cancellation list!
To protect my physical recovery and manage ongoing joint strain (carpal tunnel), we are making a few permanent adjustments to prioritize safety:
• Circumstantial Referrals: Because all dogs are different, we are handling clients on a case-by-case basis. We are making the difficult decision to permanently refer out some dogs whose grooming needs require more physical leverage than we can safely manage moving forward. If this applies to your pup, we either already have or will let you know privately. We wish these clients the absolute best!
• New Client Weight Limit: We are lowering our limit to 40 lbs for new clients to manage daily physical strain.
• Stand-Alone Services: We are no longer offering stand-alone services (ex: nail trims, ear cleaning or face trims - without a bath service) Existing nail clients are happily grandfathered in!
• Policy Enforcement: We will be strictly enforcing our cancellation policies as well as late drop-off and pick-up fees. Please be timely when dropping off and picking up! For anyone who has "No-Called/No-Showed" in the past year (after receiving a reminder), it's possible we won't be able to rebook you, as spots are very limited.
• Coat Maintenance & Scheduling: To manage physical strain and protect my recovery, we will no longer be providing detangling or dematting that takes over 10 minutes, and we will be enforcing dematting fees. If your dog is prone to tangles but you prefer a longer, fluffy haircut, your pup must be on a regular schedule of 6 weeks or less. Please "line brush" and comb a couple of times a week, and keep to a consistent grooming schedule.
Because spots are limited, we highly suggest rebooking at your appointment or giving us at least 3 to 4 weeks' notice.
Coming Soon: Grooming Software
We are looking into launching grooming software down the road! When we make that transition, keep an eye out for a text link to set up your account, upload rabies info, add a card on file, and sign our updated policies. Online scheduling would be restricted to clients on a strict 6-week or less rebook cycle.
How to Reach Us:
Texting is highly preferred! If you choose to call, you must leave a voicemail to receive a response.
