Today is the official start of hurricane season. We are all hoping for a quiet one but that doesn't mean you should not be prepared. Here is a great checklist.
I also remind my clients who travel during the season, share this plan with your pet sitter! Have a discussion with them about what will happen if a hurricane hits while you are out of town. Ask questions such as, can you evacuate my pets if needed? We never want to think the worst could happen but it is vital to plan for it.
