🐾💚 What an amazing day at the shelter!

We were thrilled to host a wonderful group of young ladies (and a brother!) from Girl Scout Troop 145 who wanted to give back and volunteer their time with us.

We put them to work on one of the funnest (and most demanding!) jobs around… PUPPY BATHS! 🐶🛁

These incredible Scouts gave 20 of our puppies baths, towel dries, and plenty of love and cuddles. It was heartwarming to see the kindness, patience, and care they showed each little one. 💕

After two hours of hard work, they enjoyed a tour of the shelter and learned more about our mission to save lives.

Thank you, Troop 145, for spending your day helping our furry friends — you made tails wag and hearts happy! 💚✨

Join us on Saturday, November 22nd from 11AM–4PM at Mellow Mushroom for a fun-filled day benefiting the Cape Coral Animal Shelter!

This family-friendly event will feature:
🎟️ A 50/50 raffle
🎨 A face painter for the kids
🛍️ An auction table full of great items

🐶 Bring a donation (food, toys, blankets, etc.) and receive $10 off your meal!

🚨BREAKING MEWS ALERT!🚨

The adult cats at Cape Coral Animal Shelter have officially declared a hunger strike. 😾 Why? Because we’re almost completely out of wet cat food—and apparently, the crunchy stuff just isn’t gourmet enough for their refined palates. 🍽️

They’ve formed a union (The Feline Food Federation) and are currently sitting in silent protest by their empty bowls, giving us the most dramatic “starving artist” eyes you’ve ever seen. 🎭

You can help end the strike (and save our sanity!) by donating Fancy Feast wet food—pâté, gravy lovers, or any of their delicious varieties. 🐾

Join us at Cape Coral Animal Shelter for a fang-tastic weekend of fun at Trick-or-Treat for the Animals! 🐾🪄

Each of our adorable shelter residents will have their very own trick-or-treat bucket outside their room 🪣🍬—ready for our ghoulish guests to drop in some tasty surprises and make their Halloween extra spooktacular!
