At Viscaya Prado Veterinary Hospital, we understand how distressing storms can be — for both pets and their people.
We’re still enrolling patients in a Canine Thunderstorm Fear Study aimed at finding better ways to reduce anxiety and help dogs feel safe and calm during storms.

🐶 If your dog trembles, hides, pants excessively, or shows signs of fear when the thunder rolls, they may be eligible to participate.

We won’t have our overnight emergency doctor tonight(11/27) and will be closing at 6pm.
All 3 offices will be closed on Thanksgiving day and
we will reopen on Friday for regular hours 8am-6pm.

Due to Hurricane Milton we will be closed on Wednesday. We are planning to open back up on Thursday as long as the aftermath of the hurricane allows us.
