We are in desperate need of donations. We only have $400 left in our rescue account and we have $950 in payments due this month alone! We are so appreciative and thankful that Acorn's vet bill was paid in full so there is no concern there but we need money in our bank account to cover all of these upcoming payments. We are constantly needing to buy things when wishlist donations don't come in and with very little donations coming in we are really worried that we are not going to be able to cover our basic necessities. We need $950 to cover the already scheduled payments and that leaves nothing for things we need to purchase this month. Please consider a small donation so we can keep saving cats. We will have no choice but to call it quits if donations don't start matching expenses. Please help if you can 🙏

Look who got his stitches and feeding tube out today!! He has gained weight also! Thank you all so much for caring. This is such wonderful news and I hope this shows everyone not to give up on the difficult cases. We are so happy for Acorn ❤️

Three kitties went to the vet today. Beautiful miss Hope (do you remember how rough she was at intake?) got stitches out. Digit and Cade got vaccines. Everyone is doing great. Hope is just as beautiful as she could be now. I can't believe what a wonderful transformation she has gone through. Even some of the worst looking cases can absolutely make a full recovery.

Today's vet bill is expected to be around $300 if anyone can help ❤️

Our buddy Acorn had a checkup this morning! Everything is going really well! The anemia is a little better. He hasn't gained weight but hasn't lost any either. Doc says those should both start improving now that he is eating more on his own. We are to just continue what we are doing this week and he goes back again on Monday. Keep sending all of the positive vibes and prayers ❤️

August has been a really hard month for Nurture then Nature. We’ve raised just $115 of our $600 monthly needs and that has already been used where it was needed. We’re currently at $0, and we haven’t been able to place our meat order for the foxes.

Between feeding the skunks and keeping up with Oliver’s monthly vet bill, I’ve put in what I could from my own pocket. Right now, we have only about 3–4 days of food left for the foxes. 🥺

Acorn is continuing to improve! He is eating a lot more on his own but we are still supplementing and medicating via the tube feedings. He lays down so nice and calm for it. Such a good patient ❤️
