For just over 2 weeks, I've watched the steady decline in Pinky Jane and Bella. At the groomers yesterday they told me that the dogs could not be separated and that when they did in order to wash them clip them or dry them that both of the girls cried wailing. So they decided to keep them together and one after the other they took care of them. Last night I went in moms room because I had not seen Pinky in several hours. She had been laying by Mom's door, and then laying by the bed. Keep in mind all of Mom's belongings have been moved to another room that will be safer for her, and closer to the floor. Pinky is not easily deterred when she has something in mind. If it had not been for our dogs I would not have known that something was wrong with Mama. We steadily watched on the nanny cam, Bella and velvet pacing back and forth next to Mama as she was having her stroke and then when she fell on the floor both of them running and barking from Mom's room to my room and back and forth until I arrived. That being said the dogs are taking it very hard not having mom here with them she is their human! So last night I went looking for Pinky she was on mom's bed with her head on Mom's pillow very sad. So I decided tonight that I would treat them and treat mom hoping that it would help. I got the girls in the car called Mom and told Mom to ask for help get put in the wheelchair put her heaviest robe on, I was on my way with Taco Bell! Of course she didn't understand why she needed to be in the wheelchair and have a robe on but she did it anyway. To her surprise and two Pinky and Bella's surprise they got to see each other this is the video it is so heartwarming to see how both of these dogs react to seeing mama and knowing that she in fact is okay. And Mama seeing these girls and knowing that they are okay too. Now both of them are asleep right next to me on the couch curled up resting fine. I think this is what they all three really needed. Love is amazing whether it be between people, or people and animals. Our dogs are part of our family! No doubt about it they save mom's life! They deserve the very best. So does mama!
