Well shoot..
This is how my day is going. I'm so sorry to anyone who is waiting on me due to this.
I rent so I don't have to deal with this. :/ Somehow, I still am.
I will keep everyone updated. Currently still at the tire place trying to figure out how the owner of this car is going to pay for new tires (not just the one that's flat, the driver's side has previous damage also, and is NOT safe), if they even are. I got two hours of sleep last night. I'm just so glad I don't have baby Nicholas with me this trip!

If you have had us shear before, I have a little story for you:
In preperation for last year, we had our blades sharpened by someone in GA who we heard great things about. Unfortunately, something happened that caused them to NOT sharpen our blades properly whatsoever, and because I was inexperienced in shearing (this is only my third year, this year!), I had no idea until I attempted to do multiple jobs that took me MUCH longer than they should have because my BLADES WERE DULL!
I thought it was a me problem, I just needed more practice... but no, I had my mentor from Shorn (Montana based shearing company that travels the world shearing camelids,) look over my blades soon after and he said, out of $170 +/- worth of sharpening, there was ONE set that MAY get a head or two done.
This year, we are so very grateful to have found a local who not only cares about his customers and values his own work, but he also went out of his way to purchase the equipment and learn how to do clipper and shearing blades just for us since he only had previously sharpened more common tools and knives. This means that we are helping him learn something new that can give him more work, and we are benefiting extensively from a fantastic and reliable sharpening service!

FROM NOW ON:
If we make an appointment, and you cancel after I have set up a rental, Airbnb, and other farms' appointments, I will HAVE to get a deposit next time we make an appointment. I can not keep planning for large trips/farms just for them to cancel after everything is set up, I have already footed the bill because I believed I would be able to afford to make the trip with the planned schedule. Disruptions ruin the entire trip for everyone!

Minimums:
Locals (One hour or less from Canton, NC) $75.00 Minimum
All other stops $125.00 Minimum (CAN be split between neighbors (ie: anyone 15 minutes from each other or closer!)
Travel Cost $1.25 per mile travel fee. Split between all farms in the area if we travel over one hour. Usually runs $40-$100 per farm.
Equine
Horses $50.00 ea.
Drafts $70.00 ea
Minis, Ponies, All Donkeys, Zebras, ect. $40.00 ea.
**ANY equine who takes longer than 25 minutes to trim will have an added charge of $32.00/hr for training. **
Clipping $60-$125 /horse depending on clip style.
Halter breaking, trailer loading, saddle or cart training , picking up feet, ect. $32.00/hr
Sheath Cleaning $35.00/ ea.
Deworming
We Provide (Quest Plus) $30.00/head
You Provide $8.00/head
Swine
Pigs Ears & Eyes Cleaning $15.00 per pig (FREE with hoof trim)

Bovine
Full/midsize cattle must be halter broke OR have a chute. Minis- no equipment necessary, just have them stalled or tied. (We can stall/catch them for you for extra.)

$65/head + $32/hour after 30 minutes
Mini (under 600 lbs) $50.00/head
+ $32/hour after 30 minutes
Disbudding by donation, we recommend $25-$50/head
Camelids

Llama/Alpaca Teeth $25.00/head
