Species Spotlight: Leopard Bush Fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre)

Meet one of the most underrated ambush predators in the freshwater aquarium trade!

This is a golden brown fish with leopard like spots from the slow-moving Congo River Basin!

This is a peaceful predator that will eat anything it can fits in its mouth. This is a carnivore that will accept frozen and sinking pellets as well as live foods! They can get up to 6-7 inches and should be kept in 40gals or larger. They can be kept with larger tetras, rainbows and other kids size fish that wont fit into their mouths.

We currently have 5 that are around 2inches. Come check them out!

🪨🪾Dragon Stone and Bonsai Driftwood🪨🪾

Looking to create jaw dropping aquascape it starts with the hardscape! This Bonsai Driftwood wood mimics the gnarled look of a Bonsai tree, add some mosses to the top and it will look like a tree under the water! Dragon Stone is a great stone for aquascaping with it holes and jagged look!
Both of these are inert and safe from freshwater and planted aquariums.
