Hey everyone!! Our friends over at Wilderun Kennels are planning an awesome litter next spring. They have one slot open for someone hopefully local! Please do not message us, go to his page and message him there! Located in Grandview Tx.

"We have one more slot available for our upcoming 47% litter at Wilderun Kennels between Zephyr and Booker expected for April 2023. Ideally for a home interested in a female or one who is flexible on gender.

Zephyr is a 2.5yo HC female who lives indoors and is reliably off leash trained. She is good with other dogs including other females, and is even respectful of cats with supervision. She has done recreational bikejoring with me and my other dogs and kept up just fine. She's aloof about strangers but fine in public other than with crowds, and extremely sweet and affectionate with her people. Zero car sickness, no seasonal aggression with people (just gets more easily overstimulated around other female dogs during Jan/Feb). She is OFA Fair/Normal, CAER Normal, PennHip .27/.32, Embark Clear.

Booker is a 10yo distance line Alaskan Husky recently retired from racing. He's an extremely happy and outgoing dog who does sled dog meet and greets at events and schools with the right balance of enthusiasm and manners. He handles nicely in public and in busy places, even ones he's never been to before. He's great off leash and naturally "sticky" with his people, and trustworthy with livestock and poultry. He is OFA Excellent/Normal, CAER Normal, Cardiac Auscultation Normal, Embark Clear.

I expect these puppies to be a great blend of traits from both parents and would thrive in homes who are looking for a more mild tempered and trainable wolfdog with a very wolfy appearance as an indoor or indoor/outdoor companion. I won't place these puppies in strictly outdoor enclosure-only homes, they must be a part of the family and actively worked with.

They will have a full 5+ generation pedigree, registration with World of Lupines Foundation - WOLF , dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, a veterinarian health certificate for travel, their first OFA CAER eye exam done, their Embark results back, and a puppy pack including copies of their parents full health testing results :) a deposit is required upon approval to hold your place on the waitlist.

To our followers, We are not raising wolfdogs any longer. We haven't for almost two years.
If you're interested in a wolfdog please do Tons of research.
Any reputable breeder will require a minimum 6ft fencing, *VALID proof you live in an area where wolfdogs are legal, experience with wolfdogs or northern breeds, applications, contracts and overall responsible dog ownership history.
Watch out for breeders who
-Breed more than two litters a year
-Sell to anyone without verifying location, fencing, legality
-hoard wolfdogs just for breeding
-have zero interest in the quality of the dogs they are producing
-breeding for color

There are many wolfdog breeders in the US, very few are worth your time or money.

Ask as many questions as you can
Ask for Lineage, Vet records, Video of containment/property, health testing done on parents (not just Embark DNA), goals for breeding, how many litters they have produced. Etc.

Anubis x Reckless

The puppies will be F4 40-45% wolf, based on their parents' lineage and Embarks. Embark has estimated a COI of approximately 2% for this litter. Both parents are fully health tested. Black phase and agouti grey pups expected. Pups will be ready to go home around early March 2021.

The puppies will be whelped and raised inside the home using Puppy Culture. They'll be evaluated at 49 days of age with the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test and have their conformation evaluated at 8 weeks. Every puppy will be Embarked, microchipped, and have their first OFA CAER eye exam before they go home at 10 weeks of age.

Anubis has OFA Good hips, OFA Normal elbows, OFA CAER Clear/Normal eyes (2020). Embark Clear.

Reckless has OFA Excellent hips, OFA Normal elbows, OFA CAER Clear/Normal eyes (2020). Embark and Optimal Selection Clear.

Applicants must live in a wolfdog legal state/county/city; must have outdoor wolfdog-proof containment (even if the goal is to have the pup live mostly indoors); and must have experience with wolfdogs or other primitive breeds. No homes outside the continental USA. Located in TEXAS, pups must be picked up in-person.

Hey everyone, we have had a few requests for puppies, but we have retired. We haven't been as active on social media as we usually would be. We were contacted by an owner to one of our earliest litters from Sitara and El Gee. They informed us that she has been accidentally bred with a male Border Collie (may have some kelpie)
Dam is- 4 years old- low content wolfdog roughly 18% wolf, with an even mix of Malamute, GSD, husky and a pinch of Akita.

Sire is a "border collie" (the only pic I have of him is terrible so I'm waiting on better pics)

Pups will come UTD on shots, worming and socialized. They will be high driven dogs so experience with them is a must. These are not dogs for people who want a quiet house dog for their kids. We expect most of the pups to be liver colored since Dad is liver.

There will be an application for anyone interested. Located in South Texas. Pics are of mom...more pics coming soon.

Update on Bacardi- every single day she’s getting better. We have got her worms under control after lots of medication. Her physical health is now stable and we are focusing on her mental health. She’s finally coming around on her own but it still very scared. We are continuing to love her and will keep you all posted on her progress. Thanks for all the care packages we have received!

As many of your know, our sweet girl Bacardi was dumped and abandoned at a very young age. She was left to fend for herself like a stray. She somehow survived and was able to dig into a neighbors yard. Thanks to our strong wolfdog community, we were able to locate a Bacardi and get her back into proper care. She’s now being treated like royalty and we are slowing gaining her trust back. We are taking baby steps as her condition is severe. She thinks all humans are evil because of the one person who abandoned her. If you’d like to follow her progress and support her journey please like our page. We will be posting periodic updates on Bacardi’s progress. We have also started an amazon list of supplies that she needs. If you’d like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it and Bacardi will thank you 🙏🏼. As for the evil human that did this to her, we are seeking justice. Thank you all for the help with our sweet girl.

Our girls are going home tonight so of course we had to have one last play date. I’m glad the sisters get to stay together in Indiana!
