Blanket season is upon us! A friendly reminder about how to correctly, and SAFELY fasten your horse's hind leg straps.
The straps should loop through each other and back to the same side they started on. The straps should be snug, but not tight enough to rub.
Belly straps should also be crossed, front to back, back to front, and Chest clips should always face your horse.

This is how WE do our blankets, if you do yours differently but still safely, great job! Safety and comfort is always the goal!

HUGE NEWS for IEA!
NOW INCLUDING 4th AND 5th GRADE MEMBERS!

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Board of Directors recently voted to expand membership to include 4th and 5th grade riders in the middle-school division of Hunt Seat, Western and Dressage. For the past 17 seasons, IEA has been offered only to riders in grades 6 –12.
