We can’t rescue our way out of this crisis.
It’s a hard truth, but it’s the truth.
Every week, we receive calls about unwanted litters, abandoned puppies, and families facing impossible decisions. While rescue will always be at the heart of what we do, we know that rescue alone will never solve pet overpopulation.
We have to prevent it.
Earlier this year, after welcoming more puppies from Connecticut than ever before, we launched our Community Support Program. Helping families with unwanted litters by safely surrendering puppies while ensuring mom and dad are spayed and neutered. Stopping the cycle before it continues.
Today, we’re taking another step forward.
We’re proud to introduce our Spay & Neuter Grant Assistance Program, created for pet owners who want to do the right thing but are struggling with the cost of surgery.
In partnership with Noble Deeds Spay Neuter Clinic, we will award monthly grants to eligible families to help cover the cost of spay and neuter procedures.
Because we know that asking for help isn’t always easy. This isn’t just about surgeries. It’s about helping people before they reach a crisis.
Life happens. Finances change. Sometimes people simply need access to resources, guidance, and a community that meets them with compassion instead of judgment.
Because keeping pets with the families who love them and preventing unwanted litters before they happen, is one of the most impactful forms of rescue there is.
Rescue will always save lives. But prevention changes the future.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our Community Support resources, we’re here.
