Happy New Year from us! 🐾

I wanted to share a quick update and some good news. Benny’s test for Addison’s disease came back negative, which we’re very relieved about. The vet believes his symptoms were most likely related to a GI issue, and he’s already starting to feel better.

I wanted to keep our puppy families informed, but also to reassure everyone that there’s nothing serious going on. Thank you so much for the kind messages and support — we truly appreciate it.

Wishing all of you and your pups a happy, healthy New Year! 💛🐶

🐾 Queen Be Health Update for Our Puppy Families 🐾

We wanted to share a quick health update directly with our puppy families. We brought Benny to the vet after he hadn’t been feeling well, and based on his bloodwork, our veterinarian is currently evaluating him for Addison’s disease.

Addison’s is a hormonal condition that affects how the body regulates energy, stress, and electrolytes. Symptoms can be subtle and come and go, which is why it can sometimes take time to identify. The good news is that Addison’s is very treatable, and dogs who are properly managed usually live normal, happy lives.

We also want to reassure everyone: Addison’s is not always hereditary. While Westies may have a slightly higher risk, many dogs diagnosed have no family history at all, and it often affects only one dog in a litter. It is not contagious, and having a sibling with Addison’s does not mean another dog will develop it.

We are sharing this information simply for awareness, not alarm. If you ever notice unexplained changes in your dog’s energy, appetite, or digestion, it’s reasonable to mention Addison’s to your veterinarian, but there is no need for routine testing in healthy dogs.

We appreciate the trust you place in us and are always happy to answer questions privately. 💛🐾

It’s official! We are no longer in the breeding business. Miss Emma Josephine has been spayed and we are delighted to announce that she’s doing well (despite her dazed expression in this photo— she got the good drugs!). I will continue to support other ethical breeders and will gladly refer you to any if you’re looking. Please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance, but our page will now focus more on our dogs and their babies. Thank you for all of the support! ❤️

Our namesake, and baby, Miss Isabella Josephine is crossing the rainbow bridge tomorrow. As such, I will not be answering any messages for a few weeks. Bella was and is my baby, she has been my constant and my rock through pain, grief, and struggle, but she’s also been my ray of light. Without this girl, I don’t know if I would’ve made it to today. Please know that while we have them, we are their whole world. Love your dogs, and know that while this is the most painful price we have to pay— I would pay it again a million times over for a soulmate like her.♥️

People! Go claim your stuff! Do you know how many of my relatives have unclaimed property?! GO CLAIM YOUR MONEY!!!!

Amid the widespread cuts that Gov. Kristi Noem proposed during her budget address, there was a source of surging revenue: unclaimed property.
