I’m taking my boy to the veterinary hospital in Tennessee tomorrow. I’ve had two local vets look at him and his condition is worsening. I can’t bear to see him suffer. He’s not just any pig, he’s like my child. I can’t describe how unique he is and how strong our bond is.. but those of you who’ve been around us know. I found him at a swap meet in Alabama.. they said he was a mini pig.. he’s now 468 lbs of awesomeness. Not so mini. Animal rescue is hard, it’s expensive. I’ve exhausted my savings. Some people think I’m crazy, tell me to get rid of the animals. But I made a commitment to each and every one of them. I wish I could rescue more, maybe when those lotto numbers finally come in. Poor Hope has an injured foot. She already has a disabled front leg, so having an injured back leg is making it very difficult for her to move around. I have to hold her bowl for her while she’s eating. The hardest part of rescuing animals is dealing with injuries and illness. It’s very difficult to see them in pain. Send some prayers Hope’s way. 🙏🏻

In an effort to calculate pledges for our urgent dogs and cats, please enter all pledges on this pinned post.

Pledges help with rescue interest and are a great way to show your support. 🥰🥰

However, rescues NEED FOSTERS! If you are interested in fostering for a local rescue, please message our page and we will send you information. Applications take at least a week to process. A dog could have $1,000 in pledges - but without fosters - rescues might not even be able to help.

If a rescue steps forward, we will POST the rescue and donation links for pledges to be honored. DO NOT respond to comments on your pledge if asked to donate unless shared with donation link. This is most likely a scam. If you have any questions, please message our page before donating.
