We are so lucky to live in an area that tries to help pet parents. Please share for people that you think may need this service. This event is for bully breed/mix dogs. For all dogs/pet parents that reside in Cherokee County Ga -pets can be microchipped for free and the shelter also provides a dog/cat food pantry to help people keep their pets when they are struggling to make ends meet. Please consider donating or volunteering to your local shelter and rescues. It’s a great way to give back to the community and help those that are in need. 

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, join us for a very special Pit Bull Wellness Event to help keep pit bulls with their families! Friday, March 14th, our Wellness Clinic is excited to offer special services to pit bulls and pit bull mixes in need, including a wellness exam, distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, microchip, and a training scholarship. A $15 copay is due at the time of scheduling and will cover all of the services listed.

What breed of dog is this and what was it bred to do? Any guesses?

This is a German Shorthaired Pointer- they were originally bred for hunting. This breed also has a wire haired version. Both are very cute and they make great companions.

Maverick and Charlie have been coming to see me since they were pups- now they have a pup of their own that gets to come and play with me also. It’s a wonderful thing to watch these dogs grow up and a blessing to be a part of their lives. We love all of our fabulous pups that get to come and hang with us. ❤️

The dog laying on the couch is a Golden Retriever and the dog laying on the floor is a Great Pyrenees mix
