It’s hard to imagine Fremont County without Frontier Feeds. For 38 years, this loving family has been the heart of our community - always showing up, always giving, and doing it with kindness.

When I heard they were closing, it honestly hit me hard. I'm sure we all feel the same way. Frontier Feeds has supported our shelter for as long as I can remember. Donating food, helping animals in need, and treating every one of us like family. Their generosity wasn’t just professional; it was personal for me.

Sean just pulled up with a truckload of high-quality food and treats for our animals — one last gift that says everything about who they are.

To Robert, Hanna, Sean, Dexi, Jake, Patches the cat, and Tucker the dog, thank you for many incredible years of friendship, compassion, and unwavering support. You’ve all left a mark on this community, and on my heart, that won’t ever fade...Doug

Hello everyone.

Our family at Frontier Feeds would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers, friends, and family in Fremont County for an incredible 38 years of business.

We’ve been so grateful and fortunate to serve our community as your hometown feed supplier, be your go-to pet food place, and support countless sponsorships, donations, and community events throughout Cañon City, Florence, Penrose, and the surrounding area and beyond. We thank you all so much for that privilege!

Our last day of business will be October 31st, 2025, and while we find it bittersweet to be closing our doors, we’re excited for our next chapter! Come in and say goodbye, share your memories and pictures on our page, and THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
