🐱🚨 Not peeing is an emergency in cats

If your cat is straining in the litter box, visiting it frequently, or not producing urine, this needs immediate attention—especially in male cats.

Male cats are at higher risk for urinary obstruction, where the urethra becomes blocked. This prevents urine from leaving the body and can quickly become life-threatening 🐾

Watch for:
🐱 Straining or repeated attempts to urinate
🐱 Vocalizing or discomfort in the litter box
🐱 Small drops or no urine at all
🐱 Restlessness or hiding
🐱 Sudden lethargy or vomiting

This is one of those situations where time matters—the sooner a cat is treated, the better the outcome 💛

If your pet has a history of anxiety during fireworks, don't wait until the last minute. Give us a call to discuss options and request refills so you're prepared before the holiday rush.
