We’re a mixed animal practice dedicated to friendly, quality care for dogs, cats, horses, and more! We are open Monday thru Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm. Thank you.

We are closed Saturday and Sunday. In case of Emergency please call the Emergency clinic in Rochester 507-424-3976, or the one in Apple Valley 952-953-3737.

WARNING: gross content! The ticks are out in full force! We found these on a patient this past week 😵‍💫🤢 Early spring and late fall are the worst time for the nasty ticks like these deer ticks that carry Lyme disease. Stop by and we can show you all the options from affordable $36 collars that last 6 months to monthly combo products.

Did you know our patients are wrapped in towels and blankets so they wake up from anesthesia warm and comfortable? All our hospitalized patients have ample bedding to stay comfy. If you have any extra or spare towels/bedding, we are accepting clean, gently used towels, blankets, fleece, and pet beds. We appreciate your help keeping our patients happy and healthy!

Be safe in this snowstorm everyone! We’ll be open tomorrow, Wednesday the 5th, despite the bad weather but might be a little short staffed as we encourage employees that live outside of Cannon to avoid the roads if it isn’t safe.
We had to share this cute little visitor from yesterday. He likes fish and his name is Cotton. He was a stray and was very lucky to be adopted into a loving home.

What do you think about CBD for pets? We just started carrying a high quality, very concentrated CBD chew for dogs. We have an oil for cats as well. So far, rave reviews! Marple and Phantom give two paws up to the kitty CBD ☺️ We plan to carry Minny Grown doggie CBD as well since it’s made in Cannon Falls. They are back ordered currently. Ellevet CBD products have been around for many years and are third party tested and guaranteed free of heavy metals. I learned that h**p plants actually concentrate contaminants so it’s important to test CBD products. Stop in and check out the new product and let us know what you think! This picture shows a tick / heart worm test. This test shows us that this poor pup is positive for THREE TICK DISEASES! Lyme, Anaplasma, and Erhlichia. This pup is very ill and was found stray, wondering in the woods. His new owners are giving him a fighting chance! Tick diseases cause many health issues from joint disease to kidney failure, seizures, blood clotting issues, and more. We run lots of these tests each day and the results take 8 minutes.
