I would like to let everyone know that as of June 30th 2025 I will no longer be Dog Control for Canisteo, Greenwood, Cameron, Howard, Avoca, or Woodhull.
I would to thank Grant Seaman and all the staff at the Canisteo Veterinary Hospital for all of their assistance with every rabies clinic we have had, coming outside of regular office hours to provide care for sick or injured dogs, and for being there to assist anytime it has been needed.
I would like to thank everyone that donated and helped find homes and owners over the years:
Susan, Brenda, Val and Sam from Pawz & Purrz Animal Rescue, Inc., Finger Lakes SPCA, Inc., Canine Bikers, Gay- from Great Dane Rescue in NYC, Deb- from Shepherd Rescue in NYC, Ben’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary, Tim and Kerry Allen, Hornell Tractor Supply, Bonnie and staff at Canisteo Dollar General, Canisteo Police Club, several other rescues that helped re-home dogs, Hornell Humane Society, Thank you to Chris, Cheryl and Lisa for donating when we needed help. And to all the others that have helped in anyway, thank you all!
