We are looking for some additional help for the upcoming summer season. Training may begin now. Full time and part time available. Must be flexible. We work with live animals which means we work everyday including holidays. It’s a physically hard job. But, extremely rewarding getting to take care of, play and love our guests. If you aren’t afraid of hard work and getting dirty this is the job for you.

Hi, everyone!! Hope you had a wonderful summer! We loved seeing all your wonderful fur babies!!

I found some amazing help from my last post. Can’t wait for the holidays and summer to see them again (when they have school breaks).
I’m looking for someone that doesn’t mind fluctuating hours. As we get busier, there are more shifts available. Slower, shifts go down.

I need someone that can work morning shifts, afternoon shifts, flexibility on weekends, doesn’t mind working on holidays.

This work is very rewarding. The best part is getting to love and play with our guests. To get to that point requires a lot of physical work…a lot of bending over, scrubbing, picking up p**p, diarrhea, vomit…if you are ok with all that, please reach out to me asap.

Hi, everyone!! I think some of you have misunderstood my previous post. I was just trying to help everyone keep their furry family members healthy.
At this point, my kennel is healthy. That can change daily just like it can 365 days a year!! There’s always a few dogs that may go home and get sick. Just like us picking up a cold, just like kids in school…If everyone will stick to my 2 week quarantine phase of no pet stores, no grooming, no dog parks, no training, no other kennel (including daycare)…anything that you can be exposed to an asymptomatic dog we can keep this to a minimum. Please try to avoid going to the vet within 2 weeks of your stay if possible. There could be a sick dog being treated. They do the best they can as do I. I’m not the one who brings an illness in to my kennel. It’s someone that’s been exposed somewhere else and brought it to my kennel. Same with the vets office. You can hold them accountable either. That’s their job is to help all of our loved ones.
I hope this clears up any confusion. I was just trying to help.

Everyone…please be aware that there’s a very serious canine respiratory virus going around. As you know how attentive we are, as many dogs as I have I promise you we are doing our best to keep everyone safe. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous virus. It comes on literally in the blink of an eye. If you still choose to board with us, PLEASE have someone available that can take your dog to the vet and keep them for the remainder of your vacation.
You’re boarding at your own risk at this point.

Hi, everyone!! As you all know us after 18 years, we are extremely clean. We do our best to keep everyone safe and healthy.
There is absolutely nothing more I can do to try to prevent your dogs from picking up a cough. I have my strict 2 week safety protocol. If everyone followed it, there were never be a cough coming into my kennel. I cannot shut down and have 58 families leave vacation to come get their pets to break the cycle. The last time it happened, I promised you all that I would not close and ruin vacations anymore. So, I beg of you, please try not to have your dogs anywhere within 2 weeks of boarding (no dog parks, no training, no pet stores, no grooming, no vets, etc.).
Kennel cough is just like a cold for us. Very easy to pick up. The bordetella vaccine works like the flu/covid vaccine…you can still get it, just not as severe.
I’ve been very blessed to have very few cases over the years.
Please help me keep everyone healthy.
I will no longer be closing to break the cycle. If I did, the very first dog can bring it right back in. There’s just way too much going on these days where the dogs can get exposed.
It’s very stressful for me when it happens because I take geriatrics and immunocompromised dogs. I don’t want anyone getting sick. I just want to love on them and let them have an enjoyable stay with us.
I beg of the people that know they’ve done wrong and tell me they haven’t been anywhere for 2 weeks prior to think about what they are potentially doing to other loved ones boarding here.
It’s completely out of my hands and totally in all yours.
You all know how strict we are and clean. Please help us!!

Please know, yes, this is an awesome job loving all of our boarders❤️❤️❤️
BUT, there much more to it…we have to give them a clean environment every day. We clean a lot. I loooove the cleaning. It’s not for everyone. I don’t want to take the time training someone to quit because it’s too hard.
