Caney PD has an open Part Time Officer position.

You must be a certified Kansas Peace Officer and in good standing with KSCPOST.

Your duties will include but not be limited to all patrol duties in the City of Caney. This position requires the ability to cover calls, investigate any reports, traffic control and all other calls we receive while on duty.

This position can lead to a spot on our Full Time roster when spots open.

We are only interested in certified officers at this time.

2 Male Black Labs, Female Sheperd, and a Female Boxer need homes, time is running out…these babies have been in pound since the 4th of July…they are great dogs!!

NOTICE

We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! Unfortunately some of our four legged furry friends were not too happy with the great festivities!

Officers with Caney PD had to pick up several dogs running loose (or running from the fireworks) the past few days.

We are at capacity at our pound and know some of these dogs belong to someone. We are forfeiting any boarding charges on any of the dogs at the pound if you pick up your dog before 4 PM on Friday July 7th 2023.

We understand the holiday noise can create quite the stir so we want to help get these dogs back home safe and sound!
