- Open to any registered Fullblood and Purebred Japanese Black, Akaushi (Japanese Brown), Japanese Polled and Japanese Shorthorn Wagyu Cattle

- The 4 official judges will select country representatives starting November 2nd.

- The official judges are:
Fernando Baldomar Salguiero (Bolivia)
Hannah Powe (Australia)
Fátima Veríssimo (Portugal)
Sergio Siller (Mexico)

- Entries can be National or Major Show Winners
- Entries can be Highest priced animals from November 1st, 2025- October 31st, 2026
- National Breed Associations may send in multiple entries or select final entries themselves.
- The 13th edition of the "Wagyu - Champion of the World" competition takes place from 1-14 December 2026
