- Open to any registered Fullblood and Purebred Japanese Black, Akaushi (Japanese Brown), Japanese Polled and Japanese Shorthorn Wagyu Cattle

- The 4 official judges will select country representatives starting November 2nd.

- The official judges are:
Rodrigo Fernandez (Uruguay)
Willemien Pieterse (South Africa)
Josh Dowbiggin (England)
Kylie Rea (USA)

- Entries can be National or Major Show Winners
- Entries can be Highest priced animals from November 1st, 2024 - October 31st, 2025
- National Breed Associations may send in multiple entries or select final entries themselves.
- The 12th edition of the "Wagyu - Champion of the World" competition takes place from 1-14 December 2025
