For sale - 5 Year Old AQHA Buckskin Gelding

β€œDoc” is a 5-year-old buckskin gelding registered with AQHA as Docs Shadow Ova Bae, and also registered with the American Buckskin Registry Association.

He stands 15.2 hands tall and wears a 78” blanket. Doc is up to date on worming and just had his teeth done last week. He’s good for the farrier, stands well, and can go barefoot or shodβ€”currently wearing shoes.

Doc is still green, so he would be best suited for an intermediate rider or above. He has a great foundation and is ready to find his person to grow with and start a career. With his build and ability, we think he would make an excellent ranch riding prospect, but honestly could go any direction.

7-year-old grade Appaloosa gelding. Has been used extensively for ranch work and branding. Started on the heel side on the smarty dummy and is currently heeling some slower calves.

Gentle and easy to handle, but he does have a motorβ€”best suited for an experienced rider, not a beginner.

Currently barefoot, has great solid feet and bone. Ties, loads, bathes, and is good for the farrier. 14.3 hands tall wears a size 75” blanket.

Just had his teeth floated 3 weeks ago, is up to date on worming as well.

2021 Palomino AQHA mare

"Feather" has a good start in the breakaway and is currently pen roping claves. We also recently started roping the smarty from the head side. She has been used to gather calves, bring calves up the alley and load calves into the trailer.
She is very kind to be around and does not act marish at all. She is good to bathe, clip, haul, gets along with other horses, and stands for the farrier. She has great bone and big feet and has always been barefoot. She is 15.3 hands tall and wears a size 78" blanket.
Feather would make an outstanding ranch versatility horse/rope horse/trail horse.
She is willing to please and likes to work. Will continue to be in training until sold & price will increase with more training/experience.

We originally scheduled over the Ice Breaker event so, we have decided to change weekends. Please note, you DO NOT have to have a finished tie down horse to attend this clinic. We want this clinic to be used as a building block, where you can learn all the pieces of making a "calf roping run".
