🛎️🐾 CHECK-IN Day – Sambucca 🛎️🐾

🌾 SOMEBODY CALL THE FARM… WE’VE GOT ONE HAPPY CAMPER ON OUR HANDS!!! 😂🐾🤎

Y’all, I don’t think Sambucca could have been ANY more excited to be back at Rustic Paws Retreat if he tried!!! 🤣

And if these pictures don’t tell you everything you need to know about how he feels about his farm away from home, I don’t know what will!!! 🥹🤎

The second those paws hit the pasture, it was GAME ON!!! 💨🐾

We’re talking ears flying, paws practically airborne, a smile from ear to ear, and enough HAPPY to fill the entire farm!!! 😂

And apparently, he wasn’t about to let his pasture pals have all the fun either! Just look at him keeping pace with his four-legged friend! 🐾💨

I swear, one of my absolute FAVORITE things about what I do is watching these pups return and seeing that pure excitement when they realize exactly where they are. 🥹🤎

No words needed. No explanations necessary.

Just one VERY happy boy who knows he’s BACK HOME ON THE FARM!!! 🌾🐾

🌾🐾 AUNTIE CRYSTAL IS OFF THE CLOCK! 🐾🌊

That’s right, y’all! This farm girl is trading her farm boots for sandy toes and a little ocean breeze! 🌊🤠🤎

Just a little heads-up to my wonderful RPR farm family that Auntie Crystal will officially be OFF THE CLOCK Friday through Sunday!

I’ll be unplugging, recharging, and enjoying a little much-needed R&R, so calls, texts, emails and messages will have to wait until Monday!

🐾 If you have any last-minute questions or need to reach Auntie Crystal before I unplug, feel free to send me a message tonight! Otherwise, I’ll happily catch up with y’all on Monday!

Don’t you worry, though! I’ll be back Monday, refreshed, recharged, and ready for more tail-waggin’ adventures with my favorite pasture pals! 🐾🌾

☀️🐾 DAY CAMP Day – Kodiak ☀️🐾

Rain, rain, go away… Kodiak has a pasture to play! 😂🐾🌧️

Don’t let these indoor pictures fool you! Mr. KO got PLENTY of outdoor adventures today, complete with his beloved bumper, some good old-fashioned pasture fun, and plenty of tail-waggin’ excitement! 🐾🤎

But wouldn’t you know it? About 45 minutes before pickup, Mother Nature decided to turn the farm into a MONSOON! 🌧️😂

So Auntie Crystal called an audible… PUZZLE TIME! 🧩🐾

And wouldn’t you know it? Kodiak remembered this game from before and went straight to work like the clever boy he is! Those little puzzle pieces didn’t stand a chance! 🧠👏

Now, was he impressed with our change of plans? Judging by that face… I’m thinking he’d have preferred another round in the pasture! 🤣

Soooo… Auntie Crystal sweetened the deal with a little COUCH TIME! 🛋️🤎 Because apparently, when you’re a regular at Rustic Paws Retreat, you know how to negotiate your accommodations! 😂

Around here, we roll with the weather, keep those tails waggin’, and make sure every pup has the best day possible… rain OR shine! 🐾❤️

And just when you thought his day was complete… there he goes, Doing the Winston on his way home! 🚗🐾

I asked Matilda what her favorite thing about Rustic Paws Retreat was…

The tennis balls? 🎾 The pasture rolls? 🌱 The endless playtime?

Well, judging by that happy little face, I think she gave Auntie Crystal her answer! 😂❤️

It’s these simple little moments that make my heart so full. 🤎🐾

☀️🐾 DAY CAMP Day – Kodiak ☀️🐾

🦴🤎 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE KO SHOW… MR. KO HAS STRUCK GOLD! 😂🐾

Well, technically it was a bone… but judging by Kodiak’s reaction, you would’ve thought Auntie Crystal handed him the keys to the entire farm! 🤣🌾

Our favorite chocolate-covered comedian had himself another PAWSOME day in the pasture!

First on the agenda? A little running, romping, and carrying on with his pasture pals Matilda, Luna, and Coco! 🐾💨

And then… THE BONE. 🦴

Oh, sweet mercy! You would’ve thought this boy had discovered the eighth wonder of the world! 😂

He found himself a cozy spot in the grass, settled in with his prized possession, and suddenly the KO Show became a one-dog dining experience! 🤎🤣

And honestly? Between the sunshine, his friends, acres of pasture, and a bone to call his own… I’d say Mr. KO has this whole farm-life thing figured out! 🌾☀️

Another day of happy tails, good friends, and simple country pleasures at Rustic Paws Retreat!

Life is pretty darn good when you’re Kodiak! 🤎🐾

🐾🌾 CHECKING OUT Day – Matilda 🌾🐾

💛 Our sweet little Blondie has left the farm! 💛

Some pups come to the farm ready for adventure… others come ready to relax. And then there’s Matilda, who has absolutely MASTERED the art of BOTH! 😂🐾

Pasture rolls? ✔️
Ball time? ✔️
Sunshine snoozes? ✔️
Exploring the countryside? ✔️
Making friends with EVERYBODY? ✔️✔️✔️

This girl has farm living down to a T! 🌾☀️

Matilda is just one of those easygoing, happy little souls who makes everything sweeter. Whether she’s stretched out in the grass soaking up the sunshine or trotting through the pasture with that adorable smile, she’s simply happy to be part of it all. 💛

And her pasture pals? Oh, they’re going to miss their sweet Blondie! 🐾

But as much as Auntie Crystal loves having this girl around, there’s one thing Matilda loves even more… HER MOMMA! 🥹❤️ And you better believe she was one happy girl heading home!

Of course, she couldn’t leave without squeezing in one last little “Doing the Winston” for the road! 🚙🐾😂

Thank you for another wonderful stay, sweet Matilda! You bring so much sunshine to our little farm, and Auntie Crystal is already looking forward to your next visit!

🎁🐾 RPR SWAG TAILS 🐾🎁
Every swag bag has a tail to tell! 🤎

😭🤎 Y’ALL!!! Auntie Crystal’s heart just grew THREE sizes!!!

Remember our boys Husker and Rebel? Those two became the BEST of pasture pals during their stay at Rustic Paws Retreat! 🐾🌾

Well, when it came time for Husker to head home, Auntie Crystal had a little something special tucked away in his swag bag.

A MINI REBEL!!! 🥹🐾

Yep! I purposely picked out a little plush pup that reminded me of his BFF Rebel, so Husker could take a little piece of his farm friendship home with him. 🤎

BUT WAIT!!! IT GETS BETTER!!! 😭

Husker’s PAWRENT just sent me this picture and shared something that absolutely melted my heart!

Apparently, Frankie is usually the plushie-loving pup in their family. NOT Husker!

But guess what?!

HUSKER CARRIES HIS MINI REBEL AROUND EVERYWHERE!!! 🥹🤎🐾

Y’ALL. I CAN’T EVEN!!! 😭

And THIS is why I love what I do.

I get to know these pups. Their personalities. Their little quirks. And most importantly, the friendships and connections they make right here on the farm.

Those friendships are REAL. And sometimes, apparently, they even follow our pups home. 🥹

Who knew one little toy could carry so much meaning?!

Two pasture pals. One little Mini Rebel. And a friendship that didn’t end at check-out. 🤎🐾🌾
