🐾Meet Little Bit. Rescued as a stray orphan in Canby, Mn, last week. A good samaritan called MN Rescue to see if we had room to take her in. She was all alone roaming the streets and hiding in a window seal or under the good samaritans deck. Somewhere along the way, little bit lost her family. 💔

Poor baby must have been so scared! 🥹

Her foster mom who took these videos, has been worried about her breathing for several days and her ability to swallow. It's as of she has something stuck in her throat. Her foster Mom has been going over and beyond with steam sessions and all. She's doing better than she was. That's all we can hope for! 🙌

Little Bit is working on becoming healthier, and more socialized for now. She's been seen by the the Appleton Veterinary Clinic. Thank you, donors of vet bills! ❤️

What to do if your pet is missing. 🐾

This may not look like much, but it will save countless lives. It sits waiting in a good samaritans garage to be activated. 🐾❤️

A simple dog kennel, stocked with essentials, can provide a temporary safe space for a cat, kitten, expecting mama, or injured stray while we arrange a safe haven.

Extra supplies sit on top: a heating pad, dewormer, syringes, kitten pâté, kitten kibble and even a fire alarm. Kitten milk replacer is stored in the Good Samaritan’s freezer. When an emergency happens—and it always does—one local resident in Canby is ready to respond.

EMERGENCY KENNEL CARE SAVES LIVES!

Help MN Rescue create more emergency kennels to help provide to community members willing to help.
We need donated kennels, litter boxes, litter, food, bowls, p*e pads, towels, blankets, and other care supplies to stock these temporary spaces. We could use some trail cams and nanny cams too!

INJURED KITTY FOUND LESS THAN A BLOCK FROM THE CAT THAT PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY. 💔 THEY WERE FROM IN THE SAME COLONY.

This little boy needs an urgent veterinary appointment this morning, friends. He was found just across the street, less than a block from where the sweet stray who passed away today was found. 😔

The emergencies keep coming, and our small, volunteer-run organization is really struggling to keep up.

We need something BIG to shift so we can continue saying YES to vulnerable cats and kittens who have nowhere else to turn. Veterinary care, food, litter, and foster supplies are needed every single day—and emergency intakes are impossible to keep up with. We are solely reliant on donations. We have no grants, city or state funding.

The sweet boy that was rescued yesterday has passed away. We all prayed for a better outcome. 💔 🐾 🌈

This sweet boy that everyone rallied behind crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier today. He continued to decline overnight and into today while under emergency medical care. The Dr did not know what exactly caused his passing, and unfortunately, MN Rescue does not have the additional funds for an autopsy or further testing to determine what happened to him. We still need help with what is owed and final arrangements.🙏

He had an amazing Dr who did her best to stabilize him. He had warmth, safety, medicine, fluids and hope. That was more than he had on that lawn that he waited on for help for over 24 hours. He deserved more in his final moments. Thankfully, he was able to receive that in his final day.

He had someone who cared enough to travel several towns over to rescue him. Thank you, Pam Jasmer- Goetsch—our amazing rescuer and foster who helps stray cats through fostering and rehabilitation. You were his guardian angel. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who called to report where he was. Those calls helped us get him help, and Pam took action. We just wish help had reached him sooner. 😔

We are waiting for photos from the vet to confirm whether he was one of the babies we had been feeding and working to gain trust with—one who was already on the MN Rescue waiting list. We wish we would have gotten to him before this happened to him.

We still greatly need help covering his remaining veterinary bill, friends. We have two more urgent vet needs also. One is an emergency of a kitten found within a block of where this poor boy was found. Two urgent vet appointments are needed in the morning.

The calls just will not stop coming in. We cannot keep up with the current demand for help without donors help.

💖HOW CAN YOU HELP THIS SWEET BOY HAVE THE FINAL ARRANGEMENTS HE DESERVES?

We were quoted $375–$500 for his medical boarding. That does not include his final arrangements for cremation.

7:20- HE'S AT THE VET CLINIC‼️Emergency help needed as we speak. This poor sweet boy has been like this for over 24 hours. Many people saw him injured, but unfortunately nobody got him to help

He needs the community's help, and he needs it NOW!! 🙏

WE CANNOT HELP ALONE. WE HAVE TO RECEIVE DONATIONS FOR EMERGENCY CARE TO GET HIM WHAT HE NEEDS!!!! 🥺

MN Rescue does not have any available funds at the Appleton Veterinary Clinic and they will require funds this evening to see him. How could we say no?

Thankfully a MN Rescue foster named Pam came to canby today to try and find him. She lives in Madison. How is it that nobody helped him in Canby?! Heartbreaking!

MN Rescue is not an emergency vet. Please help an animal in need if you see one. He was left there for over 24 hours in pain, cold and scared. This could have been avoided. He could have received help sooner.

PSA- MN Rescue was in St. Paul yesterday conducting live trapping- to- rescue of a vunerable stray colony of 15+. That number has climbed to 20+.

Volunteer rescuers helped 7 young stray kittens from this colony yesterday. They are safety in the care of a wonderful foster mom in Burnsville.

There are 5 more waiting in this colony to be rescued. We need several small traps to either borrow or funds donated to help us purchase a few more.

Help with supplies for fosters would also be greatly appreciated.

There is more than one foster family for this colony. FOSTERS STILL NEEDED!!! ❤️

MN Rescue is in contact with the residents closest to this colony, Animal Control and Law Enforcement to ensure a safe and welcoming rescue. We were called to help by a good samaritan that looks over the colony.

We have out our requests for local rescue help, but have not had luck yet. Local rescue groups and organizations are welcome to join in efforts to help aid and assist this vunerable colony.
