Lisa Robinson, who has groomed locally since 2003, and her husband Bill own and operate the West Avenue Plaza business. Lisa enjoys working with all breeds of dogs and cats and has performed more than 10,000 grooming services since 2003. She has extensive experience with puppies, cats, elderly pets, handicapped dogs, and fearful pets. In addition to her grooming certification, pet first aid traini

ng, 8-years experience working in an animal hospital and boarding facility, annual continuing education, and an independent position grooming puppies for a local pet store prepared her to deal with many different temperments and grooming situations. Fetching Looks is a full-service salon. This means that each grooming visit includes ear cleaning, nail trimming, and a**l gland expression at no extra charge. The service also includes at least 2 baths with products specific to the pet's coat and condition, drying, clipping and sc******ng to the owner's preference and pet's comfort. A spritz of vanilla cologne and a bandanna or bow are always included as well. The slogan "Helping real people enjoy real pets" expresses Lisa's grooming philosophy. The bond between a person and their pet is such a wonderful thing. Being freshly groomed may mean a cocker spaniel can sleep on his owner's bed. A cat may be less irratable because her mats are gone and she can enjoy "her human's" company more. "Deskunking" a lab can be just as satisfying for Lisa as grooming a beautiful standard poodle if it makes life better for a pet and "his person".

It looks as though the best way to and from our shop will be the northerly route, the one-way by the YMCA (Greig Terrace) or Park Ave. We haven't received any info about how far past the bridge the closure extends.
