We roll with the punches sometime… or bites?
Mr. Loki has always been scared stiff when it comes to nail trims which can be convenient because he’s not wiggling or squirming and I can get his nails done super easy however… I could still see his discomfort and tried to be mindful. Today he gave me a little bite that didn’t break the skin but I was still kinda surprised. But Loki is a nervous dog so we don’t try to correct the behavior we prevent it. He got a lovely little pink muzzle for 4 minutes which allowed me to finish my work without discomfort or anxiety and without having to be firm. Every dog is different and sometimes what works for one pal doesn’t work for my other pal. No hard feeling Loki. ❤️

Holy moly I think this is the most hair I’ve ever had dropped on my salon from a deshed. It must be that hot weather we’ve been having. And I just had these guys in 5 weeks ago. How is there any dog left?!

I stole this photo from her momma and it’s been a few weeks but this is tipper. She was one of my absolute favorites from the time she first came in and hung out in Emily’s play area at my old salon because she doesn’t like the kennel. I was not super keen on the idea till I saw what a gentle sweet girl she was. And she’s always stayed that way. Gentle and sweet, lover of chest washes and blow dries, not my biggest fan in general but a really good sport. She went to doggy heaven but she’ll always be remembered at smart dog. Thanks for the years I got to care for her pantaloons Maggie Benham. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
