I love looking back at old farm photos. These are all from 2020. I was pregnant with Wyatt, bringing home any animal I could get my hands on, and had absolutely no business plan. I didn’t know what an enterprise budget was, had never heard of cash flow projections, and honestly just figured everything would work itself out.

Ignorance is bliss… until it’s not. 😂

Back then, I was learning by trial, error, and a whole lot of expensive lessons. Fast forward to 2026, and I just wrapped up teaching a farm business class that helps farmers build plans, budgets, and businesses that can actually support the life they want to live.

It’s funny how things come full circle. The version of me in these photos had no idea where she was headed, but I’m grateful she kept showing up anyway.

Sometimes the things you struggle with most become the things you’re eventually able to teach.

Growth rarely happens all at once. It happens one season, one mistake, one lesson, and one leap of faith at a time. Take the risk, make the jump, it’ll be worth it ✨

🍉 Watermelon Mojito Mocktail 🍋‍🟩

My drink of summer. I can’t stop drinking these and it’s a bit of a problem.

1. Add watermelon to a shaker and muddle until smooth.
2. Add mint, lime juice(get a good quality one), and simple syrup. Muddle the mint to release the flavor.
3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
4. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, or dirty dump for the most flavor.
5. Top with soda water and garnish with extra mint and a lime wedge. (Pellegrino is the best here)

Add rum if it’s your thing. 😉

Not only have yall PACKED the stand, but we also have a nice fund going to keep it stocked!

If you or your loved ones/friends/etc/ lost their SNAP or are having a hard time, please, come on by the farm! Take what you need, leave what you don’t ❤️

Less than 24 hours and the community has really stepped up 🥹 thank you to everyone who has come by and donated food items to the stand! Please continue to do so! Spread the word to those in need, that we have food and some toiletries to choose from!
