Barrel Racers... with the amount of rain we've received and still expecting rain later today, to keep it safe all horses and riders and for Yavapai County Junior Rodeo Association to have their finals, we will be canceling tonight's barrel race. We will have double points on the October 3rd race. We will still have the breakaway tomorrow night.

Barrel racers... we will give an update on arena around 130pm today. We've kept the arena closed up for these rain storms so we should be good. But James Sealey will make the call around 130pm.

8am start time this weekend for the YCJRA Finals. We're supposed to get some rain this weekend, so come prepared. James Sealey is and will work his magic to have a safe arena for all this weekend.

Will our next Fort Verde Days Rodeo Queen be YOU?
Our 2026 Fort Verde Days Royalty Pageant is coming up October 4th. Which means applications will be due any day now.
Our rodeo is October 10th - 11th in Camp Verde.

Our Rodeo Queens are required to attend CVAA events as well as represent CVAA and FVD at rodeos across the state!
Queen: 17-24 yrs old
Jr Queen: 12-16 yrs old
and of course... our sweethearts 🩷

Barrel Racers and Breakaway Ropers!!!!!! This weekend we will be ready to go with a great arena at regular scheduld times. This weather brought its magic to make it perfect for barrel racing Friday night. We're excited that Yavapai County Junior Rodeo Association will be here this weekend so hopefully we get some kids to enter up and more money in the pot.

HUGE thank you to Jess N Shanna Mulcaire for providing the calves for these last two ropings of the series. We also would like to thank Tanner Bryson and Christa Brunori for donating the calves for the first two ropings. BIG thank you to our added money sponsors, Montana Renkema with Camp Verde Veterans Tribute Car Show and Mulcaire and Son. And lastly, thank you to Ace-high Silversmiths for the beautiful buckles. 😍

Just a reminder to qualify for year end buckles you must attend 3 of the 4 races. We've completed two so far and make-up #3 will be October 3rd with starting with Barrels we run at 6:15pm and breakaway following.

We are looking for volunteers for Ftiday and Saturday night. Barrel setters and gate help for Friday night and Saturday night we need volunteers at the catch pen, roping box, and help running the calves up too. Were good for up in the office.

Today at the Equestrian Center, we’re celebrating faith, family, and freedom. We invite you to join us as we gather with family and friends for some good, old-fashioned fun with go-kart races and a special vigil to honor the life of a truly godly man. As we come together, we do so with honor and respect for one another.

​We ask that everyone be cautious and mindful of their surroundings. The Equestrian Center is a safe place for all, and we want to keep it that way.

​If you’re here for the go-kart races, admission is $10. Pit passes are also available for purchase.

​If you're joining us for the vigil, please park in the east main parking lot and park closely together to ensure there’s enough room for everyone.

The Fort Verde Days Rodeo is rapidly approaching. The event will commence with a kick-off party, including the crowning of the rodeo queens and the celebration of the next Camp Verde Colonels Daughter. We are actively seeking live auction items, particularly those of high value. Jed Morrison will provide musical entertainment.

****Listen up ropers and barrel racers. *****

We appreciate your patience. With only a couple people and all our help and volunteers busy and or gone we had with family emergencies or other situations we finally have a make up date for our #3 roping. It will be the same night of the barrels on October 3rd. Barrels will be going first. Time onlys at 4 to 5:30pm start time at 6:15pm. Breakaway roping following. Again were always asking for volunteers and we could use it.

Regular schedule barrels and roping will be September 26 & 27th.
