****HUGE CHANGES AT ASHABI FARMS!!!****

So incredibly proud of this kid of mine! He finished up 8th grade last week, he switched schools this year, and while starting 8th grade at a new school was a bit daunting, he jumped in with both feet! Made a ton of new friends, raised his grades, played school volleyball and school soccer and made memories that will last him a lifetime!

Since this was decidedly the year of change and growth, he also decided to try out for a new, more competitive soccer club. He made the team and decided to leave the comfort of his hometown comp team so he can learn and grow under the guidance of some professional coaching! This is a BIG jump!!! Soccer is his passion and I am so excited to follow along and support him in this journey!!

That being said, the commitment is huge!!! Mom’s hobbies need to be paused so that I can make sure this kid has every single bit of time and support he needs on this new exciting adventure.

Sooooo, MORE GOATS NEED NEW BARNS!! I don’t want to watch some of these beautiful girls sit, so I’m offering them to show homes! Huge discount to any youth showman, whether it be open, 4-H or FFA herds.

While I love love love my goats, I love my kid more and this is a decision that I didn’t hesitate to make. If you are a breeder of any of these girls and you’d like to bring them home, message me! We’ll make it happen.

This isn’t goodbye for Ashabi Farms, it’s just a pause to make sure my time is dedicated to Asher’s dreams for the next few years while I have him at home! I’ll be back! (We will still be breeding a handful of goats for 2027).

Tis the season to sift through the kids that are still here.

I haven’t done much evaluating on our togg kids because to be honest, I want to keep them all!! I’m not, but I want to!

We have one togg wether that is thus far unspoken for. 1 buckling pending (unless I decide to hoard him for myself🫣)

Once I’m finished sifting I will have at least 2 togg doelings in search of new show barns. Prob more like 4 if I come to my senses! 🤣🤣

The first one is pictured here. She is the daughter of our 2023 ADGA Nationals Premier Jr Doe and our lovely 2025 raffle buckling from Rebel Creek.

I’m so in love with his kids from this year! They are all so sharp and stylish!!!

Still looking for a few more sponsors for this year’s El Dorado County Fair Awards. This is the dairy goat list that I’m currently working on filling, but I believe we are also still in need of a few market goat sponsors as well:)

We have single class sponsorships ($150), half species sponsorships($700) and banner only award sponsorships ($50) so there is something for every budget!

Do you own a business and want to get the name out there into the community?…this may be a great option!! PM for more info!

To the auction tomorrow! Thank you for all of the interest on our “crazy goat lady” sale! Those of you that swooped in got some great deals on some awesome animals.

While I don’t love a trip to the sale barn, it’ll feel good to lighten the load for sure!

Big changes happening in our lives this year! So I need to finally pull the trigger on finishing this downsizing project before I find myself unable to manage things and becoming one of those farms that decided to disperse everything. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO GET THERE EVER!

We will be making a trip to the sale barn next Friday so let me know if there is anything you’ve been eyeing.

Not many that I couldn’t be talked out of at the moment. 😝

That being said there are a few I will not take there. They aren’t culls, I just cannot manage a herd this size with my current health, especially coupled with my son’s demanding sports schedule!

Goat Addiction Legally Blonde - this doe would be great for anyone including youth showman! She is a full sister to Goat Addiction Chocolate Mimosa, Sunday and Chocolatini for those of you that love those girls as much as I do. She kidded Sunday, March 22 with buck/doe twins who will be staying here (for now). (Pending pick up)

I also have a 2 year old Touche daughter who recently freshened with her chocolate buckskin doe kid sired by Wolfivan Brio at her side. I haven’t registered her yet (oversight on my part I thought I had) but her littermate sister won her very competitive int kid class at the Fresno fair when she was out with me as a kid. I think there were 30+ kids in that class but it’s been a while so I’d have to go back and look🤣🤣-(New barn found)

Any open does can be bred before they leave if you’d like!

Today’s goat shenanigans involved hitting the road at 4am (on daylight savings day-what a genius move that was!) headed over to the coast and into the fog.

There isn’t much I won’t do for the kids who are the next generation of this industry I love so much! 🩵 plus, what a beautiful drive!
