Due to the recent EHV outbreak, we are canceling any and all appearances we had scheduled for the rest of 2025 and into early 2026. Thank you for your patience and we can't wait to see everyone next spring.

Important Health Update for All NAMJA Members & Mule Owners

The North American Mule Jumping Association would like to remind our community to stay vigilant regarding Equine Herpesvirus (EHV). With the current cases and potential outbreak, awareness and prevention are key to keeping our mules safe and healthy.

What is EHV?
EHV (Equine Herpesvirus) is a contagious virus that can cause respiratory illness, abortion in pregnant mares, and in some cases, the neurological form known as EHV-1. Although mules can be affected just like horses, early detection and responsible management make a big difference.

What You Can Do:
✅ Monitor your mule daily for fever, nasal discharge, coughing, or changes in behavior.
✅ Avoid sharing water buckets, grooming tools, or tack between animals.
✅ Practice good biosecurity, especially when traveling or attending events.
✅ Quarantine any new or returning animals for at least 7–14 days.
✅ Contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice symptoms or if you’ve been exposed to affected animals.

Had another great time in pea ridge Arkansas.
Makayla jumped Chuckie in the 51" and under class didn't place 🥺
Ginny Jeffries placed 2nd in the 51"and under with Capone
Ethan Norris placed 3rd in the 51" and under with Marshall
I placed 3rd in the pro jump with Miss Kitty!!
