Coming to the rescue in Cameron, NC on Monday is this adorable senior, this is her story.

She is about 8-9 years old. Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She was a service dog for a lady with bi-polar and PTSD. The lady was found deceased and this pup never left her. She was found laying on top of the lady(which she was trained to do to help with panic episodes). She is not a fan of other dogs(she may come around if worked with but has been an only dog for years now). If you are not able to help if you know of anyone who may be able to. Bambi aka: Lilah is here at the rescue from Texas. She got in this morning at approximately 5am. She is tiny and adorable and I believe her ears might be bigger than her body!! Bambi is being treated for heartworms, anaplasmosis and erlichia. When her vetting is done she will be a super sweet and young addition to anyone's family.
