So, we have found ourselves the proud owners of some super cute figurines with a pretty cool story behind them. We're going to offer a few of them up for sale each week and when they're gone they're gone...and some of them are extremely limited. I am looking into how we can get more but we purchased everything our supplier had and they won't be getting any more. Here are the Halloween figurines that we currently have...if you are interested in purchasing any of these please come by the store any time.

These miniature figures are made from marbles! A creative artisan and his family from a small town in Chile were making these tiny marble figures. As orders increased, he was not able to do all of the work himself. A friend helped by training some of the local single mothers that desperately needed income. With the money from the sales of the marbles, these women have been able to improve the quality of living for their families. The marble miniatures are made by starting with a child's marble. A two-part resin is used to form the heads, ears, noses, feet, etc... Then the marbles are hand painted. No two are exactly the same.

UPDATE: 3/20/2025 The Hummingbirds are on the move! Latest sightings reported in red from Arkansas to North Carolina. Get the feeders out! And remember a simple solution of 4-cups water to 1-cup sugar.
