Fostering Foster Animal Rescue

Fostering Foster rescues dogs in SC who are homeless, abandoned and abused and transports them to no-kill
partner organizations in NY.

We rely on our rescue farm in Camden and foster
homes to care for the dogs
between being rescued and heading up north. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue was founded by Andrea Walker and a close knit group of devoted animal rescuers that were determined to make a difference in their community. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is a volunteer driven nonprofit. We are dedicated to rescuing animals, primarily dogs, that are in southern kill shelters and that are in desperate need of help. We know that spay and neuter is one way to reduce the number of animals on death row in shelters. We primarily collaborate with northern rescues, shelters and animal leagues to save as many lives as possible. We rely on foster homes to help us save lives and donations to keep us funded. The more foster homes and supporters that we have the more lives we can save. We believe that all dogs have tales to tell and we believe in giving them the chance to wag their tails. All dogs deserve to be loved and cherished and to enrich the lives of their humans. Through community involvement and social awareness we know that one day every dog will have a home. Our founder's very first foster dog was Foster- this rescue's mascot- and boy, oh, boy did Foster have some tales to tell, like how he stole Andrea's heart and became her forever boy. For 15 years, Foster and Andrea were side by side saving lives. In Foster's memory, Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is still saving the lives of animals in need. This is Foster's page, this is your page, this is OUR page. Let's celebrate all things dog and save the many lives that are depending on us. Here at Fostering Foster Animal Rescue we promote rescue, fostering and adoption, and celebrate all things DOG!

Transport time means wheels rolling all night. Same van, same mission, another group of dogs headed toward happily-ever-afters.

Been driving all night, but every mile's worth it.

These transports take time, planning, and money. Want to help keep the wheels rolling? Every donation, big or small, gets the next group on their way. Because saving lives doesn't stop at the rescue gates.

🐾 LOOK WHAT A FEW HELPING HANDS CAN DO! ❤️

We had SEVEN wonderful volunteers show up at the farm today, and what a difference they made!

They tackled our supply room, helped clean dog rooms, and made sure our dogs got plenty of attention along the way!

We especially love seeing young people get involved in rescue work. They're learning that giving back to their community can make a real difference, and we're so glad to have them! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who spent part of their Saturday helping us!

Now, here's the thing. We need days like this EVERY day! With so many dogs depending on us, there is never a shortage of work to be done.

🐶 Could you give us just ONE HOUR? Walk a dog, help with chores, or spend some time with a shy pup. It all matters!

One Hour. One Dog. One Big Difference. ❤️

Come join our volunteer family! Send us a message and we'll help you get started.

🐾 Y'ALL, WE NEED SOME HELP THIS WEEKEND! 🐾

We've got a little project at the rescue farm, as well as the regular routine of caring for the dogs, and we could sure use some extra hands!

Our storage area is home to everything from dog toys and extra supplies to cleaning products and just about anything else we might need for our pups. And let me tell y'all, it needs some attention! 😂

We need volunteers to help us clean it out, sort through everything, and get ORGANIZED! The goal is to make some room and actually be able to find what we need WHEN we need it!

This may not be the most glamorous volunteer job, but it sure makes a difference in our day-to-day work caring for the dogs. ❤️

🐶 Got an hour or two to spare this weekend, especially SATURDAY? We'd love your help! Many hands make light work!

Comment below if you can lend a hand! 🐾

WE WILL SEND YOU DIRECTIONS TO THE FARM IF YOU NEED THEM!

🐾❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL MAKE A DOG'S DAY! ❤️🐾

Y'all, today is officially Make a Dog's Day, and we think EVERY dog deserves a little extra happiness today! 🐶

The best part? It doesn't take much to make a dog's tail wag!

Here are a few ways to make their day extra special!

🐾 Take them on a walk and let THEM do all the sniffing!

🦴 Surprise them with a special treat or a new toy.

🚗 Go for a car ride if that's something they love!

❤️ Spend some extra time playing, snuggling, or giving belly rubs.

🐾 Make a fun little treasure hunt by hiding treats around the house!

And those dogs who don't have families of their own yet? ❤️

There are SO many ways to make a shelter or rescue dog's day, too!

🐶 VOLUNTEER! Walk a dog, give a bath, play fetch, or simply sit with a shy pup who needs a little love and encouragement.

🏡 ADOPT OR FOSTER! Nothing makes a homeless dog's day quite like finding a family to love!

🎁 DONATE! Food, toys, treats, blankets, or a monetary donation can make a tremendous difference.

📱 SHARE! Sharing a rescue dog's picture or adoption post might just help them find their forever family!

❤️ SPEND TIME! Sometimes the greatest gift you can give a rescue dog costs absolutely nothing. Just a little of your time.

Here at Fostering Foster, we know that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a HUGE difference in a dog's life.

Sooooo: What are YOU going to do to Make a Dog's Day? And if you've got a spoiled pup at home, SHARE THEIR PICTURE WITH US! 📸🐶

Because every dog deserves a reason to wag their tail, especially the ones still waiting for someone to love them. ❤️

🐾❤️ Because of HoofandPaw SC Bea is alive today! ❤️🐾

Sweet Bea, a Beagle in our rescue, recently faced a life-threatening medical emergency. She was bleeding into her own intestines and had become septic. Her condition was critical, and without immediate emergency veterinary care, we could have lost her.

But thanks to the incredible generosity of Hoof and Paw, Bea got the lifesaving care she needed. And today, this sweet girl is alive and on the road to recovery! ❤️

We are so incredibly fortunate to have Hoof and Paw as a partner in our mission to save lives. Their support goes far beyond helping with one emergency.

🐾 They provide funds for critical, lifesaving veterinary care.

🐾 They help cover heartworm treatment for several of our dogs each year.

🐾 And when we're facing an especially difficult medical case and urgently need funds, they often step up with matching donations, encouraging others to help us save another life.

This is what partnership in rescue looks like. It's not just about providing financial support. It's about giving animals like Bea a fighting chance when the odds are stacked against them.

To everyone at Hoof and Paw, thank you for believing in our mission, standing beside us when the need is greatest, and helping us give dogs and cats the second chances they deserve.

Bea is alive today because you were there when she needed you most. And we couldn't be more grateful. ❤️🐶

Together, we really are saving lives!

❤️ To our amazing donors, sponsors, and supporters — YOU are the heart of our mission! Your generosity is so much more than a donation. It's food in an empty belly, medical care for an animal in need, a safe place to land, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Every ticket purchased, every dollar donated, and every act of kindness helps us continue giving animals the second chances they deserve. 🐾

Because of YOU, lives are being changed and lives are being saved. We are beyond grateful for the incredible community that stands behind our rescue. We truly couldn't do this without you!
