Jess and R***r babies have arrived! We have 7 precious sweeties ❤️ Going through the waitlist this week, so families have time for holiday planning. Pick up will be in Lunenburg VT or Camden SC . These pups are from Health tested ( OFA hips and elbows, and clear DNA parents) , and will be registered ABCA ( also eligible for AKC) and will have a 1 year health guarantee.

Please welcome Pastor Lanny , his wife Leigh and their boys Tanner and Waylon . Lanny will be be taking over our breeding program this winter! He will continue breeding our same beloved Border Collies , and will offer the same health clearances and guarantees. Lanny is a professional trainer , specializing in sporting/hunting dogs and obedience. He can be reached at 803-445-4377 for information on upcoming litters , as well as questionnaire for Y'all to fill out . He will be keeping a deposit and non deposit waitlist . This page and our website will soon be transferred to him. Lanny has already exceeded my expectations !

I will have 2 litters born in a few weeks, and i'll be reaching out to families on my waitlist once they are here . Anyone left on my waitlist, will be contacted by Lanny. 🐾 Top 5 Reasons People FAIL at Potty Training Their Puppy (and how to fix them)

After 8+ years of training dogs, I can tell you this:

👉 Most potty-training problems aren’t “stubborn puppy” problems…
they’re human structure problems.

Here are the top 5 mistakes almost every new puppy owner makes:

✅ 1. Too much freedom too soon
If your puppy is having accidents, it’s not a “bad puppy”…
it’s a puppy with too much unsupervised space.
Until they’re reliable, they should be:
• In a crate
• On leash with you
• In a playpen
Not free-roaming the whole house.

✅ 2. Not enough crate structure
People feel guilty using the crate.
But the crate isn’t “puppy jail.”
It’s the #1 tool for teaching bladder control.
If they can’t be watched → they go in the crate. Period.

✅ 3. Waiting too long between potty breaks
8-week-old puppies can’t “hold it” for 3–4 hours.
Most need to go out every 30–45 minutes when awake.
If you wait for them to “tell you,” you’re already too late.

✅ 4. Turning potty time into play time
If you let your puppy sniff and play first, they’ll forget why they’re outside…
Then come in and p*e on your floor.
The rule: Potty first. THEN play.

✅ 5. Rewarding at the wrong time
Praising them inside the house after they p*ed outside does nothing.
You must reward outside, immediately after they finish.
Timing > talking.

💥 Bonus Mistake:
Using the wrong cleaner.
If it doesn’t say enzymatic, the puppy can still smell the p*e and will repeat the spot.
