Sugar Plum Farm Show Jumping and Fox Hunting stable offering lessons for all ages! The stable sits on the edge of Camden's Hunt Country, home of the Camden Hunt.

We offer lessons to adults and children - trail rides, horse showing, foxhunt, on /off site leasing, training, sales and shipping! 🐎🦊

vels of riders.The lesson program runs from September to May. Summers in South Carolina are HOT and our ponies like to spend their summer lakeside of the mountains of NC. Our trails are lined with fences, aikens, and coops to jump or go around and you can ride for hours. To ride in our country, you must be a member of " Friends of Hunt Country" or be escorted my a member of the Camden Hunt. Our hunt kennels are just a few doors down and we walk to most of the hunt fixtures.

A well bred ex -chaser 9 y/o 16 hh bay gelding. This is his 3rd season hunting, has hunted in 1st/2nd/3rd field and whipped in a few hunts. Scopey jumper, with a quiet demeanor and good feet. Happy to lead or follow. Has hunted with Camden Hunt, Wateree Hounds, Cedar Grove Hounds, Genesee Valley in Salley, Green Creek Hounds and Mecklenburg Hounds. Looking for lady rider preferably
We've owned the horse for 4 years and he is quiet. He's been a family horse and used as a hireling for out of town visitors. He's done nothing wrong , we just have a couple more horses waiting their turn to start in our program.

Meanwhile yesterday at Moore County Performance Trials, where good footing and rain coats prevail, hunting wasn't cancelled.
John Rothell huntsman for Green Creek Hounds and hound Volcano took home the huntsman's pick award and Best All Around. For each win in a division, entry receives a sculptured train rail nail. Randall Wiseman, huntsman for Sedgefield Hunt, also had numerous wins. Well done!
