Over and over again, we hear that our CSA members love our amazingly fresh, delicious, organic veggies. Our CSA season runs from June-October and we still have some pickup spots open on Friday and Saturday. Sign up via the CSA tab on our website (link in bio).

And we promise there won’t be any child sized bites in your veggies. :) Because guess what? Our kids don’t just take small bites, they devour veggies straight from the field. Kids DO like veggies when they taste good…. And they taste good when they are freshly harvested at their peak, and packed with nutrients from being grown in a way that cares for the soil.

First harvest of our season!
I take the winter “off” from growing veggies to have as much snuggle time with the kids as possible before the next season takes all of my time.
Alder is pretty proud of his bounty, although he really wanted to eat it while it was still caked in soil. (We compromised and I rinsed it in a puddle in the field)

Our Farm Story...

...is just beginning! We are Steve and Lindsay Inzalaco, owners of Shady Grove Farm. Summer of 2018 will be our first year operating, but we have been dreaming and scheming for a few years. After Steve attended a farm apprenticeship program in Santa Cruz in 2015, the plans to start a farm began forming. We relocated from frigid Wyoming to greener pastures in Washington state in 2017. After the land search roller coaster, we are thankful to have signed a lease on an acre of certified organic land in Camas, Washington. Having our farm in Camas is important to us because we will be putting down roots at both our farm and the community we live in. We will be providing diverse organically grown vegetables at the Camas Farmer’s Market (Wednesday afternoon), the Vancouver Farmer’s Market (Sunday) and through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture - aka prepaid weekly veggie box), and to local restaurants. Please reach out if you would like to be part of our story!
