What to do with that beautiful Fall display when the season has passed? Please consider donating it to Fairy Ring Farm instead of tossing it in the trash! Our pigs and goats would love to dispose of your untreated pumpkins and gourds, and straw bales and fodder stocks can be used for bedding throughout the cold months! Drop off any unwanted items near our gate or message us and we’d be happy to arrange for pickup!

This is definitely not the news we wanted to share, but due to damage from our famed trespassers and mother nature, the Fairy Ring Petting Farm will not be reopening as planned this season. We appreciate your patience as we rebuild and continue with improvements that hopefully all will enjoy. We hope to reopen in September to the public and school/civic groups alike. In the meantime, please stay tuned to our page for virtual animal meet-n-greets and more. See you in the Fall!

Another fun fact is that the Queen's stock are all red, while the Western Highlanders can be many colors...

Queen Elizabeth’s fold of Highland cattle was founded in 1953 and roam the 50,000 acres surrounding the Balmoral Castle located within the boundaries of the Cairngorms National Park. The Queen is considered one of the country’s top Highland breeders. At last mention she owns over 50 head of Highlands on the estate.
