I don't have a Web site for this service. Apparently, that was a question that came up for someone. My price range varies, but is standardly $30 to stay overnight with one animal and $50 to stay overnight with two. My phone number is listed on the page, if you would like to text or call with questions.

This is my last night in Des Moines, Washington, watching an elderly, loner cat (Stevie), a fancy Australian Shepherd named Magic who is also a detective dog (I call her Madge), and a three-legged Pomeranian/Poodle mix called Sammy Sue, aka Sassafras or MissBarksALot. They have some special needs of various types but the bottom line is they're lovable, as are all my furry clients. Here are a few of my favorite photos. Please note that Stevie does emerge from the closet but it's hard to photograph her. Madge has a dog walker. I thought she was just walking Madge, but I walked her out to her car and found out she drives a canine clown car full of dogs of all shapes and sizes.

I've spent the last seven days house- and dog-sitting in Stanwood, Washington, for an older Jack Russell Terrier and a beautiful white puppy of indeterminate lineage. They are well-behaved, fun, sweet, and an all-around pleasure to spend time with. We went for walks, played in the backyard, and hung around the living room, watching television and chatting about this and that. Tonight is my last night with them. Fortunately, they live in the neighborhood, and I can always stop by and say hello. Thank you Finley and Mocha, for making this week so lovely.

I stopped by today at the home of my favorite Shih Tzus, Henry Harrison Ford Madox Ford and Action Jackson. He needs to have his second blind eye removed because it's just a nuisance, but they both look so super handsome with their new haircuts and the little harnesses that I bought them for lickle presents. I guess it's a measure of my love for them that I really didn't notice how shaggy they had gotten. I know they love me for me and our walks and cuddles, but the grain-free fancy-pants treats I bring them makes Harrison walk like a tiny, trained bear. I need someone with me to record a video. It's just too adorable. In related news, I'm going to be working for two beautiful dogs the week of March 17-24, and I have jobs in April and June. But I still have availability during these lovely upcoming Spring months.

I like it very much that whenever I come home, I can hear Beppe, my cat, quickly padding down the stairs to greet me. I enjoy the jingle of the bell, too. In the evenings, he likes to watch television upstairs with my parents but when I arrive, he's all mine. And he sure doesn't like me fiddling with my telephone or laptop. Here he is, demanding attention and whispering in my ear, "You'll always love me best!"

Today I walked my two favorite dogs, Henry Harrison Ford Madox Ford and his older brother, Jackson, the One-Eyed Wonderdog! We went to the park near Camano Animal Shelter and they ran and ran all over the place. Usually we walk in their neighborhood, so it was fun not having to worry about cars or deep ditches. Jackson gets around amazingly well; except when he occasionally bumps into things, you would hardly know he's blind. Afterwards, in the car, they were both very tired. (I couldn't get a good photo of Jackson.)

Sit, Stay or Play is a pet and house-sitting service run by an animal lover. That's me! I am mature and responsible and supplementing my income doing what I love most--taking care of animals. I am available every day, 24/7. I live on Camano Island but have reliable transportation and offer services in Island, Snohomish, and Skagit Counties. I have experience with dogs and cats, volunteer at an animal shelter, and will take care of your pets the way you would do so yourself, according to your wishes. I am also available for overnight stays. In general, I charge $20 per day for visits with cats--changing litter, feeding and watering, and spending an hour and a half of quality time per visit, including active play or just cuddling, depending on the needs of the cat. Spending an hour and a half walking your dog is also $20. Both house and animal sitting is generally $25 per pet and I will water plants, bring in mail, keep your house tidy, and walk dogs as often as you would like. I have excellent references, and I believe all the animals I've cared for would give me four paws up. Please feel free to call, text, or email with further questions. Naturally, I am available for an in-person meeting. Phone or text me at 360-502-3351, email [email protected], or leave a message here. Thank you.
