It's hot out there! Summer haircuts can help but please remember that the floor is lava when you don't wear shoes and cars turn into ovens ridiculously quick!

Psa to our clients: If you need to run an errand and can't leave your pup at home please drop them with us for a couple hours. We would love to babysit our clients rather than have them alone if they can't be or in a hot car if it's unsafe! As long as we are in the shop working we are happy to have a quick hangout with your pups!

We've been hard at work chartin' a new course for Canine Cove Grooming, and we're excited to share some changes coming to the cove!

⚓ New pricing structure designed to provide more personalized care for every pup. Pricing will be based on time and work, not breed or size. Some clients may see a small increase in their service cost. Some may see a decrease. We will be rolling out these changes gradually for former Pets Ahoy clients with pre scheduled appointments to make the transition easier.

⚓ New appointment schedule with later appointment times to better serve our crew. We will be opening at 9am Tuesday- Friday and 10am every other Saturday! We will be keeping some prebooked 8am appointments when possible! We will contact you to reschedule if we cannot honor that time.

💅 We will continue to offer walk in nail trim services from 9-2 Tuesdays-Fridays for $10-15!

⚓ Fewer dogs in the salon at one time, creating a calmer, less stressful environment.

⚓ More one-on-one attention from your groomer and less time spent waiting in kennels.

⚓ New digital appointment reminders to help keep your grooming adventures on course!

Our goal is simple: happier pups, less stress, more personalized care, and a better experience for both dogs and their humans.

We know change can be a little like sailing into new waters, but we're confident these improvements will help us provide the quality care your furry first mates deserve.

As the skies light up with fireworks and celebration, we be hopin' all our canine shipmates weather the booms and bangs with calm hearts and steady paws. Remember to keep yer pups safe, secure, and comfortable below deck if the festivities get a little too noisy.

Fair winds, calm seas, and plenty o' treats to all! Have a wonderful Independence Day, and give those brave pups an extra scratch behind the ears from us. 🐾⚓

⚓🐾 Ahoy, Pet Parents! 🐾⚓

We've recently spotted a local report of kennel cough (Bordetella) making the rounds at a nearby dog park, so we wanted to send out a friendly reminder to help keep all our furry shipmates safe.

Before setting sail for the dog park, grooming salon, boarding facility, daycare, training class, or any place where dogs gather, please make sure your pup is up to date on their vaccinations—including Bordetella (kennel cough).

Kennel cough can spread quickly anywhere dogs socialize. While no vaccine can completely prevent illness, staying current on recommended vaccinations can help reduce the risk and severity of infection.

At Canine Cove, we care about the health and well-being of every dog that comes aboard. By working together and keeping vaccinations current, we can help keep our local canine crew happy, healthy, and ready for their next adventure.
