Meet the dashing Momo! This 5-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix is on a mission to find his forever family. A charming, affectionate fellow, Momo adores people and thrives on attention. He's been around kids and would be a great match for dog-savvy youngsters. Though Momo's a total cuddle bug with people, he's got a selective taste in canine buddies, preferring pals who match his size or are bigger. Momo's not exactly a member of the cat fan club and would rather skip the whole roommate situation with them! We are currently looking for somebody consistently starting mid April (shifts to he discussed) due to one of our valued employees needing to help take care of a family health issue.

Open 8-6 seven days a week with a two hours break on the weekends!

We pay minimum wage.
Must be 17 or older!

Job Title: Kennel Technician

Job Type: Part-time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our team! If you love animals and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this job is for you. Our kennel techs play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the dogs in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Animal Care: Feed dogs according to their specific dietary needs, administer medications as directed, and monitor overall health.
• Waste Management: Scoop p**p and maintain clean and sanitary play yards and kennels.
• Playtime & Supervision: Safely let dogs out in groups for socialization and exercise while monitoring behavior.
• Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Safety & Well-being: Ensure all animals are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Report any signs of illness or injury immediately.
• Customer Interaction : Greet pet owners and provide updates on their pets when necessary.

What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine love for animals and a willingness to work hard.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Microchips provide identification that can last a lifetime. Microchipped pets are reunited with their owners faster and can often avoid the shelter all together. Microchips are especially helpful for cats since collars and tags are not always an option. CASA will implant and register your pet's microchip for free. The process is quick and does not require any sedation. Our trained staff will make the process as easy as possible for owners and pets! Cats and Dogs are welcome. All pets must be secured on a leash or in a carrier, greater than 8 weeks old, weigh more than 2 pounds, and be easily handled. Pups!! 🐶 ❤️

🖤 ADOPTABLE PUPPIES 🖤

We’ve got a fuzzy explosion of cuteness—PUPPIES! These little bundles of joy waltzed in with their fabulous mom! Meet the trio of boys: Finley, Aries, and the charmingly chaotic Noisy Bear, along with the darling girl, Tootsie! At just about 2 months old, they’re like adorable sponges ready to soak up all the knowledge (and treats)! With energy levels that could power a small city, they’re all about playtime! These sweethearts love a good cuddle session when it’s snooze o’clock. And don’t worry, they’ll go home already spayed or neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and vaccinated! Just a heads up: any potential pup pals at home need to meet first! Also, the adoption fee for one of these guys is $300! If your heart just did a happy dance for these cuties, fill out that application, and let’s set up a puppy playdate!

This funny looking guy is Goofy! Goofy is a 7-month-old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix who was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home! Goofy is an active, outgoing guy who will need a patient owner dedicated to his training. He would be great hiking or camping buddy as he loves to go for walks and adventures. Goofy would do well with dog savvy cats.
A meet and greet is required with any resident dogs in the home before adoption. It is unknown how he is with kids.
