Had the chance to compete in my first taxidermy competition last weekend. My main goal was to get honest critiques on my mounts and learn as much as I could to improve.

I ended up winning Professional Division Best of Category – Waterfowl, as well as Professional Division Best of Show, both for my wood duck mount. I’m incredibly grateful for the recognition, had an awesome time, and I’m already looking forward to next year!
