We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team! The ideal candidate values hard work, has strong organizational skills, is client service driven, and has a strong interest in dogs/horses and the Saltaire Gundogs culture. If you have visited the Saltaire Gundogs kennel you have probably met our Kennel mascot, Elvis. He’s usually the first to greet anyone when they arrive. He’s also plays the role of honorary grandfather to everyone here including all of the puppies whom he loves. Elvis started life in Virginia at the Bull Run hunt and later spent two years hunting with the Smithtown Hunt’s pack until his retirement. He’s lived on the kennel sofa since his retirement and we couldn’t imagine life without him. If anyone is looking for an older dog to adopt, consider a retired hound! Anyway, it’s a beautiful Sunday with the dogs and thought Elvis could use a little appreciation!
