Big day for our little guy today 🖤

Pistachio — aka “Stash” — had his very first official field trip today, and he absolutely stole the show.

We took him and Lola Mae on an outing to Hagan Ace Hardware and then for a stroll through Amherst Oaks to work on confidence, socialization, and all the little things that help prepare our babies for event life.

To absolutely no one’s surprise… Stash was a total snuggle bug the entire time. 🥹 Customers at Ace were loving on him nonstop, and he soaked up every second of attention in his typical sweet, cuddly Pistachio fashion. He handled new sights, sounds, people, carts, and all the chaos like a little rockstar.

Honestly, aside from still polishing up trailer loading skills (he’s SO close and improving every trip!), he was truly the best boy today. Calm, curious, affectionate, and just happy to be included. We are so incredibly proud of him already.

At this rate, we think Pistachio may just make his official B***o Buddies event debut at our August 22nd wedding and we honestly cannot wait for everyone to meet him.

Some weddings go exactly as planned… and some remind you that flexibility is part of the magic ✨

May 9th brought plenty of rain, a lot of watching the radar, and a few timeline adjustments — but we are flexible and were still able to bring the donkeys out for this beautiful celebration. Once the weather cleared, the evening turned out absolutely perfect.

Huge shoutout to all of the vendors who stayed flexible throughout the day and helped everything come together so smoothly. And especially to Brittany for the great planning and coordination that helped make the evening such a success despite the weather changes.

That’s one thing we love most about weddings: everyone coming together to make sure the couple still gets their perfect day, rain or shine🤍

I originally shared this in my stories, but it felt like too big of a milestone not to give it a permanent spot here.

Our sweet girl, Lola Mae, turned ONE on May 6th.

She got a little birthday celebration… or more importantly, something she loves just as much — rare one-on-one time with me. Around here, attention is a hot commodity, and with multiple donkeys always competing for scratches and snuggles, solo time is a pretty special gift.

Watching her grow this past year has been so special. She loves her job, adores her people, and is one of the most fiercely loyal little partners I could ask for. I can’t wait to watch her keep growing into all she’s meant to be.

Happy 1st birthday, Lola. We sure love you!!
